as title states: is there an online text on the star wars rpg? like the one that lists the characters/classes/feats and descriptions of stuff.

I use 4share.com often. So far I have had no issues with them. They also scan their own data to let you know no harmful things have been detected in the program. This has actually been quite a reliable sight.

Or you can use Demonoid to get the torrents of all the books in PDF form. I have both, physical books and digital, with the digital the one I primarily use.

I'd recommend the older West End Games system. It's a lot more graceful than D&D in space. Don't get me wrong, I love me some D&D, it just doesn't do Star Wars very well.

I'm playing through KOTR at the moment and my whole party are armed with swords, largely because they're the best weapon given the way D&D works and KOTR uses d20 as its core. There are plenty of other issues as well, for Mon Mothma to be one of the best politicians and diplomats in the galaxy she has to be high level. Making her high level, unfortunately, also means she can beat a bear to death with her bare hands (which is not quite the impression I got from the films).
