Ok so a while back Carnor Jax gave me some tips on cherry picking a Boba Fett. Here they are.

Carnor Jax wrote:

Some advice on how to get the Boba:

Grab the first pack off the shelf, spin around 3 times, while muttering "spooky monkey" under your breath. Replace it, and grab the pack three rows under it. Silently thank the miniature gods who have bestowed Boba upon you, and make an offering of a double bacon cheeseburger hold the mayo. Then, paint a modern art portrait of your pet, and hang it where the miniature pack was. All this has to be done whilst wearing you lucky 3-leaf shamrock painted rabbit's feet. (4-leaves are a lie.) Well, if you follow all these steps, you should be able to increase your chances of getting Boba by a quarter. Oh, I did mention this only works in Portugal, right?

Now I had to refine this a little bit to get it to work in the good ole US of A.

Purchase one booster pack from every Target with in driving distance of your house. The first time you pull a mini you’re looking for, this is now your Target Hot Spot! Remember your cashier’s face this will come into play later. You will probably want to make a note of his or her schedule as well. Next, make sure the money comes from your spouse’s or significant others wallet or purse. Upon arriving at your hot spot, walk past the front store display. Look but do not, I repeat DO NOT, touch a single booster pack. Can’t stress this enough! You don't want to end up with another Bacta Tank do you?

Now head toward the toy section and look for the end cap with boosters on it. Do not make a bee line for it. Just get an idea of where it is located in the store. Now walk past the SW Lego display, again looking but not touching. This is followed by a trip past the SW Action Figure aisle. You are ready to head for said end cap or back to the front of the store. Where ever they are in stock.

Once there, follow Carnor Jax’s tips. Now head to the register and make sure you get the same cashier as last time. I don't care how long the line is so stop whining!!! When leaving the store you will know you have Boba Fett because the sensor alarm will alert you to his presence. While your spread eagled against the wall as they roughly frisk you. Smile like a Cheshire Cat, you have successfully Cherry Picked your Chase Boba Fett!!!

BTW I now have a spare Boba Fett, Mercenary Commander on my trades if anyone needs him. ThumbsUp And yes the alarm did go off on me. I stood there staring blanking back into the store with only boosters on my person. LOL

But seriously, the Felcor weigh's about the same as a 12 oz can of soda. I have two of them. And when your holding one in your hand there will be no doubt in your mind you have one.

Carnor Jax told me that in the Rebels and Imperials set, if you poke the pack you might be able to feel the Boba Fett mini. He's the only tall mini in that set.

We will have to ask Carnor Jax if it's mini specific. Unsure

Whoops, sorry everyone. I actually forgot to post the actual tips. Blushing Got a little caught up in the goofy part of it. RollEyes Anyway, I edited it. Please post yours if you want. And please stick to the non-ripping the packs open stuff, that's annoying when people do that. Cursing

Hmmm I tried that but it didn't work , I tried something different.... I had a tornament style bracket system which pitted one against the next. I would throw 2 packs in the air as high as possible . Whichever landed 1st won the round....... I tried it 5 times..... If I get another Tie Crawler I'm gonna Be pissed

"Squelch and CarnorJax's Cherry Picking Methods: As Reliable as a Stormtrooper's Blaster....or Maybe The Falcon's Engines!"

On a side note, if it didn't work, you just don't want the fig bad enough.

I've been to 20+ Targets across 5 states and have yet to pull a Felcor. What am I doing wrong, oh Lords of Cherrypicking?

picking a "heavy" booster, rather than a "really really heavy booster". It's hard to compare when you haven't felt a Felcore in box, but once you have, it's easy to tell later. :)

Oh ya, bill is right on Target there. No pun intended. BigGrin But ya, the Felcor weigh's about the same as a full 12 oz can of soda. Found two in the same day/same store. And when you pick it up there will be no doubt in your mind. Not to mention your grin will split your head wide open, as mine did. If you are unsure hefting it in your hand then it's a Telosian Tank Droid <--most likely or a Knobby White Spider. Which now is also a want for the V-Set Yammosk. ThumpUp

I've got the Telosian Tank droid's weight down to within a microgram, but have yet to find a super heavy booster for that elusive felcor.

Ya, I've got 3 of those. They fooled me the first time with one. But the Felcor is VERY noticeable. I was going through them at the front of the store hefting them. There was about 2 and 1/2 cases worth of them, as I got toward the last few I found the Felcor. When I picked it up I knew what it was right away. I was getting ready to make a beeline for the register, and then stopped and thought "wait!" They put them on the end caps in the toy section too. So I went back there and the first one I grabbed was just as heavy. Woot I ripped them open in the car and was screaming at the top of my lungs when I opened the first one. Felt like I won the lottery. Laugh

If you pick up the booster and worry that you'll be wearing a cast on your foot for the next six weeks if you drop it... you might have a Felcor.
