I checked the glossary and don't find anything. If there is a wall that takes up an entire space, do characters count as adjacent if they're diagonally across it?

A diagram with your question would help.

All 8 squares around the character count as adjacent. The diagonal enemies are not adjacent if both walls separate it from the primary character. NESW enemies are not adjacent if at least a single wall separates them.

A quick rule of thumb, if you can draw LOS to them, then they are adjacent.

Also if they are adjacent they are considered adjacent.

But you still couldn't target in the first example, due to not having LOS. I should double check, just to make sure they are still adjacent. Beveled corners are a pain.

This is something I need clarification on if I decide to create the Kamino map as follows:

From the Line of Sight guide:

You can trace Line of Sight across the exact corner that includes the bevel. It's important to note that only the corner itself can be traced across so it will only happen when drawing a line in a case like the perfect 45 degree angle shown in the example.

Based on this thread, I would say they are not considered adjacent. It only allows movement, not the counting of range. Beveled Corners only allow movement, not counting of range or LOS.

EDIT: I guess I should've actually read the FAQ, since it says it implicitly. The relevant section is below.

The LOS guide is outdated.

Q: How do beveled corner squares affect line of sight?

A: The do not affect line of sight at all. They affect movement. They are treated exactly as if they are normal corners in regards to line of sight, including the situation where there are two beveled corners directly opposite each other across a corner. In such cases characters don't have line of sight even if it looks like they might count as adjacent. They are not adjacent, do not have line of sight, cannot attack, and do not give up attacks of opportunity.

Looks fine. Beveled corners only become an issue when you have two diagonally from each other like Teth and Rattatak.

Smile Heart

and also no

BlooMilk Cursing
Smile BlooMilk

No Bloo Milk = pit

but yes

BlooMilk Cursing
Smile No Bloo Milk

So on maps that have the beveled corner wall opening, Cad Bane can pop through fire off his 4 shots (or more in a totally pimped out squad) and then pop back to safety behind the opening.

That folks is why these are not found on Restricted List maps.

Looks like the LOS Guide on HOLOCRON was never updated to include the revised ruling. I took care of it this morning. Sorry for any confusion.

I noticed this weird combo on Map Pack 3 Mos Eisley Residences map that is on the Restricted list

Is movement allowed through here or is it just the same as a wall?
