I have been looking all over the place for cheap mouse droids but they are up to about $10 now. I only have four so I would like to have a couple more handy just in case. Anyone know of a cheap place to buy them?

try your luck with an IE booster from Target

they're $7 now at Miniature Market, and they have 8 in stock.

1 out of 6 should have a Mouse Droid.

Correction: 1 out of 6 I don't buy should have a Mouse Droid. Otherwise its 1 out of 20. Crying

In 32 boosters between my friend and I, we managed to pull 1 mouse. You're better off coughing up the $10. On the plus side, I have enough lograys to build a 1/16th scale replica deathstar.

With the booster prices as they are, I'd say take the risk. Worst case scenario is you get trade fodder for mice and other minis.

I'm in the same boat as adamb0nd. I bought so many boosters of IE at Target that I was able to get another complete set of R/VR (almost a 3rd) but only able to get about 2 or 3 Mouse Droids. If you only care about Mouse Droids, go with online sellers and buy them straight up or else you'll get stuck with a ton of Moff Jerjerrod like I did, lol.

I've pulled about 7-9 mousies in the 15ish IE boosters I've bought from Target. So if y'all are wondering where those mousies are going; they're comin to me :D

neither 0/9 or 9/9 means that another person isn't 1/6 likely to pull one from Target. It all depends on if the guy has a use for the other minis or not.

True; as in; if someone needs 39 out of the 40 possible figs in IE (lets say he ony has 3PO ED ;) ); hes better off buying a couple IEs because if he does not pull those coveted mouse droids theres still a 39/40 chance he'll pull some other stuff he needs. While on the other hand if someone needs ONLY a mouse doid and already has 5 complete IE sets then hes better off buying a couple mousies online than buying a couple IEs in hopes of pulling a single mouse.

I've nabbed most of my Mousies from a UK website that had them for 1 pound each, from about a half-dozen IE boosters, or from Miniature Market back when they were 5.50. I think it's worth it to grab a couple IE boosters at Target and test your luck.

I've basically sworn off buying any more IE boosters. I have 5 mouse droids which will do me fine but if I need a couple more I know I can purchase 2 at $10 each plus shipping for basically the same price as purchasing 3 IE boosters at Target, none of which might contain another mousie.

I still need a Luke Skywalker Rebel Commando and that's the approach I am going to take for acquiring that piece. That will be like buying 2 IE boosters at Target.

I certainly wouldn't mind getting another Darth Vader LotF, Palpatne on Throne, or even a Dash or Rieekan for trade bait but I really don't want to chance getting another C3PO or Lobot CLO (I have 2 of the former and 4 of the later).

They've been sold out for quite a while, and no longer update their SWM inventory. I just grabbed about 5 mouse droids at one point.

They are 4 for $8.99 each at CoolStuffInc.com... with 99 cent shipping no matter how many singles you buy. Still pricey, but available (especially if you combine with a larger order).

Maybe it's time for the V-set crew to "nerf" mouse droids ???

I think that will cause a lot of upset among players because of the amount of money people spent on them.

Since WOTC is no longer in involved, it would be great if they at least got rid of the rule saying you had to have a card for each one (this was unique rule to the mouse droid for some reason... normally one card would suffice). Then, people could make two from one for at least some of theirs. The main reason given for this was that WOTC was in this to make money, now that they are out of it and we are into the vSets, I think this rule could easily go.
