What do you think Star Wars Miniatures today would be like if WOTC was still making the minis and stuff?

Instead of anticipating our second 60-piece sets since WotC quit, we'd be anticipating the fifth 40-piece set. So that's 200 new pieces instead of 120. Out of those 200, 80-90% would not be viable as competitive pieces. So take the 120 new pieces we have, pull out 20-40 of them to be in the hypothetical WotC sets. We'd have something like that, along with 170-180 non-competitive pieces.

We'd be griping instead of appreciating what we have in the game.

We'd have progressively worse sculpts and paint jobs to look at instead of the amazing customs the community are making.

All of the above. Especially the less money part. Razz

I even agree with SavageRancor's one WotC set per year, so we would have more pieces for recommended minis. ThumpUp
(However, that might have complicated things for v-set production quite a bit.)

These are all good points. Looks like I will still have less money as I think I will be buying a few cases over the summer if I can afford it to catch up on some of the older sets.

Crap, I just checked and someone swiped the last KotOR case from Amazon that I had my eye on.

up until they karked us, I thought WotC did a good job with the game.
We all loved it years before it went undergroundLaugh
IMHO the 40 piece sets were better, easy to collect, and with out 20 extra pieces that were just filler.
Some of us think we're addicted to plastic crack, but with out any new minis released in a while.
I can see we are addicted to stat crack. gimme more.Drool gimme moreHuh

I would have been poorer too!!
The Rebels would have all received Super Stealth and self-destruct 30 through a new figure named, General Mcquarrie, Hoth commander, and the new Republic Meta piece would be Anikan Skywalker, Balancer of the Force with the special ability , All characters within 6 are defeated with a save of 16..Afinity of course with the new pieces from the clone wars cartoon, the Father, the Son , and the DaughterCursing Cursing Cursing

Lol.. I'd still be poorerBlooMilk

I second and third that! As it is I pool my pocket change in a jar. Copper bits separate from the silver stuff. RollEyes If you leave money in your pants pocket in the washer or the dryer at my house, well, lets just say it stinks to be you and leave it at that. LOL
