Well; Satele I believe was in that one...and she still was apparently an apprentice or what not (myabe a knight..she still had a 'master' the gotal dude). Malgus was the bald sith dude who slew both the jedi master and his own afterwards...so I would guess probably this took place before the first Knights trailer and second one as well. The commando dude who assisted the gunslinger looked like the guy in the second trailer as well.

Yeah Darth Malgus is the key here. It is definitely a prequel trailer.

That makes sense. What throws me off a little is that in the boos. Satele is the Grand Master. I Wonder how much time has elapsed. I thought the trailer was awesome though!

Yeah, it definitely looks like a prequal, like they only just discovered the Sith are back in the game.

And I think Satele must be younger because in the second trailer she manages to palm a lightsaber blade - if she could have done that in this one I don't think her Master (actually a Zabrak I thought) would have had to sacrifice himself.

They ended up posting a mini article about this on the main site swtor.com

BUT

this new Trailer takes place 28 years before the treaty of Coruscant was signed, which happened right during the first cinematic trailer where the Sith invade the Jedi temple.

The Alderaan trailer takes place between the two, I don't recall the specific time frame. But it is Darth Malgus is all three as well.

Surprised I don't see a bigger thread for this game here in general. I'm pretty excited for this, majority of my world of warcraft guild and friends will be playing this together as Sith, if anyone's interested. WoW is stagnant so moving on to the superior game, which after Beta testing I can only confirm as amazing. It's gonna knock WoW's teeth out haha.

Awesome! yA, Im not sure if I will get to play the MMO. I will need a faster computer if I do. Ive read a ll the new Old Republis book, as Ive read every Star Wars Novel. Im not sure if I will have enough time to play 2 Star Wars games. I'm still trying to play minis once a week. We shall see though!

Truth is one of the larger misconceptions of an MMO happens to be the time involved to play one. SWTOR more than others could be easily played very casually if it needed to be. It plays very similar to RPG'd due to its story elements and character progression for each class. So yeah very easily had with little time here and there which is something real nice about it.

I say treat it like an RPG and you're good to go :-)

As far as a computer goes, so long as you have one involving newer parts within the last 2-3 years, you should be perfectly fine. That wouldn't guarantee keeping the graphics turned all the way up, but it would still run pretty smooth. I tested it out on my current and old computer when i had my shot at it. My old one was New back in December of 2006 and It more or less ran fine. Only suggestion would be a newer graphics card depending what you have, that tends to make the larger difference usually all by itself.

No announced date But I'd hazard a guess at November if we are lucky. There was an interview with someone from Razer, who is the maker of the new SW keyboard and mouse, he said in different parts of an interview that the items will be released same tiem as the game, then later that he expected them out in November. so Here's hoping on that one.

as far as a public beta goes, I don't believe they will be doing one other than the closed. If they do an open I'd expect it about a month or two before release to test out their servers likely.
