This squad was a lot of fun to play with. I like having a disposable lancer. Obviously Jason K has shown over the last 2 years that this system is strong. I like having San and Whorm over Grievous so that your first strike isn't automatically suicide. You can actually out-activate, strike, and then decimate some more after init with the MTB. You obviously don't hit as hard all the way across the board, but you can soften up that target and take out the scrubs, and then finish off the big bad guys with lancer # 2 and the IG-86. I still have yet to zap someone with Sidious this year, but that option is there too!

Very interesting squad...been a while since I've seen double Lancer, hope you had a good time at regionals.(no, I didn't go) Could we see what your reinforcements are?

Reinforcements were usually a Muun Tactics Broker and 6 Mouse Droids.
Against Nom Bombs it was 2 Treadwell Droids and a Mouse Droid.
Lots of options to choose from, so I always bring a bunch of reinforcement options

As they advance I would strafe them all going deep to the opposite side. I would then give them the tough decision of going back and hoping to win Init while I fire away with my IG-86, giving me extra time to whiddle them down, or advance towards my whole squad, leaving both lancers alive. Either way it's a win for me. All it takes is 2 (back and forth) rounds of strafes and a final extra attack to kill Han. So I might even bring in an impotent MTB and then just focus on killing Han, then once I do I am in good shape. Anakin dies before Mara more often than not here, since a strafe usually hits everyone, so you don't have to worry about unleash the force nearly as much. It's still a tough match, but I think I could win it. I beat Deri running Solo charge at Chicago Regionals last year with my single lancer squad, but I think double lancer is even better against it. I think Double Lancer's worst match-up is probably Greentime's Nute's Moot squad, which is a variant of my Gunray's Gladiators. I don't know how I would beat that if it were run well.
