At my local tournaments were allowed to use reprinted cards. I use my Darth Vader Unleashed and reprint card with no problem, I mean, its not my fault my pitbull decided to eat his card...

No. In a sanctioned tournament you must have an official stat card for each different mini you are using. So, any mini from RS through MotF will need an actual card, not a printed copy.

You can get replacement cards by utilizing the orphan thread on the trade forum.

If the tournament organizer says you can, then you can.
If the tournament organizer says you can't, then you can't.
All events are independent now Wizards is out of the picture, the tournament rules are whatever the guy paying rent on the hall says they are.

The rule Wizards had when they ran tournaments was that you needed original cards for each character in your squad. Many places will still hold to that, the only sure way to know is drop some email to whoever is running the event you have in mind.

I thought I'd seen that you only need ONE card for each different piece provided that all copies of that piece are in their original form. This is to say you could us ten mouse droids but only have one card. Now if even one of those mouse droids had been significantly altered you'd now need ten real cards for the ten pieces.
