The aspie in me loves numbers, statistics, demographics and logistics, so I've been wanting to ask this for awhile now...
I'm interested in the age and gender of my fellow gamers the size of their collections and how long they've been playing :)
The old tourneys at the now defunct lgs in my area were dominated by males, mostly ages 16 to 25....does the similar hold up here?
I'm a male, age 18, my collection is about 1,700 minis and I've been playing for 6 years.

Male, 41, approx 3500 minis, playing since Rebel Storm.
I suspect there's going to be a correlation between large collections and older players (over 25? over 30?), who are likely to have more disposable income.

Male, 35, playing since RotS/2005.
My collection is probably close to six or seven hundred, mainly because I do not collect the NR, Vong or Mando ( and got rid of the CS since the droids they had pre Clone Wars were pretty terrible, but started to collect them again) and/ or traded/ given away any of the pieces i deemed crappy or I would never use (ie: Veractyl Wrangler, Zabrak Fringer, klaatonian... well, anything). I do like to have two or three copies of each un/ common that I do keep, and like most of us I love me Storm and Clone and Sith troopers.

Male, 25. My collection is around 2,500 minis (missing 39 minis not counting R&I/Promos). I stated playing shortly after RotS came out.
As a side note regarding my collection: I have about 175 Gonk Droids. Someone was selling a lot of 144 of them on ebay and I bid on it because I thought it would be funny to have a gross of gonks.

Dang....I wish I had 175 Gonks. On a side note; while you bought 144 in a lot; that means you still had 31 before. WOW. Now you can grant your AT-AT 40 Extra attacks...

Not quite. I had about a dozen regular and 3 promos when I bought the lot. The rest came from subsequent Universe packs.

Not quite. I had about a dozen regular and 3 promos when I bought the lot. The rest came from subsequent Universe packs. Lol that means you bought AT LEAST 16 UH boosters to aquire those 16 gonks. Thats alone is a lot of moola to spend on plasti crack.

Not when you're getting the boosters as tournament prizes.
