Ok, so first question, Diplomat and indiscriminate. If a character with indiscriminate (Leviathin) attacks a character with diplomat (Jedi Diplomat) does this mean the diplomat now looses the diplomat ability?
Secondly, if a character has savage and melee reach 2, do the still have to move directly next to a character?

1) No, the character doesn't lose Diplomat, it is just ignored by the character with Indiscriminate when it attacks.
2) Savages must end their adjacent to an enemy if they can. MR counts as adjacent (for all purposes) only when attacking, so the movement action has to satisfy the Savage restriction first.
In other words, you can't stop short and use MR if you can get all the way adjacent. On the flipside, if full movement leaves you still not adjacent, but in range for MR, Leviathan can attack the diplomat.

I am not too sure about the first question. I do not think that being attacked by someone with Indiscriminate will make the diplomat character lose it permanently, though I could be wrong about that.
The answer to your second question is, yes, they do because Melee Reach x goes into effect when you are targeting not for anything else, I believe. Yet again I could be wrong.

1. A character with Aggressive Negotiations loses Diplomat when attacked. Indiscriminate ignores Diplomat only, it does not remove Diplomat from a character. 2. You check to see if a Savage character is adjacent to an enemy at the start of the character's turn. If they are not, they must move to be adjacent. They cannot stay still and just use Melee Reach and make all thier attacks, taking away thier movement. Neither can they move 6 and attack a character within 2 with MR 2, they must move the 7 squares to be adjacent.

I made an incomplete comment with regards to the Leviathan moving full speed and being within MR range - it could only attack if it was using Charging Assault (which it has, but it must be declared).
