That would seem to be the concept behind Niles Ferrier.

An obvious choice is Nien Numb should have Pilot. But that one was too easy. Tongue

For over 25 years, I also thought his name was Nien Numb.

They really should have given darth bane 40 damage, would have been a better representation.

Duly noted, lol. If he was playable, I might remember that. I'm not sure if my fingers will cooperate at this point.

Well, you opened my eyes for the first time. Lol, didn't realize that until reading this post.

Maybe we were right and it is Nien Numb, and Nien Nunb is just some other guy who never learned to fly a ship?

A while back, when I noticed somebody else use an 'n', I was about to correct them but thought I should double-check myself first. I even went back to the old Kenner action figure. I couldn't believe it:

And, yes, Nien Nunb needs Pilot.

Adding stuff to old cards is something most of us have wanted to do, but lets face it, that would make things far too complicated than they need to be. I think the approach that the v-set designers are taking (using commander effects to boost old pieces or making the same piece with a different name) is the best way to go and we should stick to it. As far as the Defel Spy example goes, I can easily see making a new piece named "Wraith" in the future (Defels were also called wraiths).

the idea was to just see what people thought.
I'm NOT saying anything should be officially done, just curious if anyone thought, or house ruled something to make a SWM more Life Like
and to be clear keep the SWM discussed to WotC minis

Adding Pilot to Nien Nunb would break him. I don't think our game is ready for that type of change.

I don't like the idea of errata much, but I'd support:
i) Giving Nien Nunb "Co-Pilot".
ii) Creating a new Arcona Pilot piece in an upcoming v-set, which gives Co-Pilots the Special Ability "Chortle".

Giving all pieces with a lightsaber Lightsaber Defense would be more accurate. No Jedi, JM or Sith should be without it. And please, for the love of all things good, will someone please give Pilot to Han?!?

If that's how its going down, then I think the most desired change would be to give Mouse Droids Tiny (Does not grant cover and does not count as a legal target for characters more than 6 squares away).

Agreed on the Mouse Droid, but I'd word it as

Tiny: This character does not grant cover and enemies may choose to not count it as the nearest enemy.

Actually, a new Chewbacca should do that.

Chewbacca, Co-Pilot
Cost: 21
HP: 100
Def: 17
Atk: 7
Dmg: 20

Special Abilities
Unique, Wookiee, Pilot
Double Attack
Han's Co-Pilot: An ally that counts as Han Solo gains Pilot

I like that idea. It would be cool to also have a Nien Nunb with "Lando's Co-Pilot".
