As the topic states, theres a few questions here:

1)If you have Thrawn (Mitth'raw'nuruodo) and Mas Amedda in the same squad, does Mas Ameddas Booming Voice work for this effect of Thrawns: "At the end of this character's turn, 2 allies within 6 squares of this character who are the same size may switch positions."?

I am honestly torn because I could see it working because Booming Voice specifically states it works on all CE's with a range of 6, which this effect is, but then again I see it not working because its a broad effect, not specific like giving a bonus to Atk or Def.

2)If you use Republic Commando - Boss's effect to let Republic Commando - Scorch take an immediate attack, can Scorch use his Grenades-10 ability?

Again, I am torn on this because Boss's effect gives another character an immediate attack, and Grenades only replaces attacks not a turn, but I can see it not working because that seems a tad broken, which brings me to question 3.

3)If Boss's effect DOES allow Scorch to use Grenades as an immediate attack and I have Captain Tarpals on the field as well, does this mean I am allowed to make 2 Grenades attacks?

For a third time, I see this as being a weird situation and Im torn because having Tarpals on the field already lets you use 2 "Replace Attacks" abilities a turn which in and of itself is against the norm but getting to do the same thing on a "free" attack from Boss? Seems really really broken to me.

4)Does Skirmish refer to the entire game or just your round and your opponents round?

5)In regards to the Disciple of Ragnos, can you use Force Corruption from multiple Disciples on the same enemy model and corrupt them multiple times, forcing them to make multiple saves?

I HIGHLY doubt this one, but better to ask.

6)If you have Thrawn (Mitth'raw'nuruodo) and a Mouse Droid in the same squad, can u count 6 squares from the Mouse Droid for one character and another 6 squares from Thrawn for the second part of his CE?

This has to be the most intelligent collection of questions I have seen in the rules forum for quite a while. Most questions can be answered easily with logic (according to the rules, not reality; SWM has its own logic, you just have to take everything literally) but these I can see a new player honestly having no idea on without getting a ruling from somewhere. I would be happy to answer these for you.

1.) Yes, Booming Voice expands the range of swapping commander effects like Thrawn's. In fact, that is one of Mas's most useful applications.

2.) No, Boss's CE (and other "immediate attack CEs like Princess Leia's, Bothan Noble's, Imperial Officer's, and Old Republic Senator's CEs) specifically allow a character to make an attack. The character cannot "replace attacks" except on its own turn.

3.) Not applicable, because of the answer to the above question.

4.) "Skirmish" is the term for the entire game.

5.) The glossary entry for Force Corruption says that a character can only be affected by one Corruption at a time. You can corrupt the character multiple times, so he takes the initial damage every time, but on his turn the character only has to make the save for the last Corruption he was hit with. So if you had Logray (Force Corruption 10) and Darth Plagueis (Force Corruption 40), you would definitely want to corrupt with Logray before you corrupt with Plagueis.

6.) Yes you can do this. Relay Orders allows you to treat counting squares from the Mouse Droid as if you were counting from the commander himself.

Not completely correct. You make the save of the highest version of Corruption, not the last one used. So the order you do does not matter, because you will have to make the save vs the higher version. This is in the glossary.

Oh, really? Thanks, I learned something new!

EDIT: No sarcasm intended.

Thank you very much for the help you guys and thank you for the compliment Leftieswillrule, I appreciate it. Other then Boss, which I figured wouldnt work but I was hoping cause that be awesome, this pretty much went just like I thought it would. I have been playing the game for awhile but usually just for fun, never really any serious battles, but I started playing some more fearsome squads at a local store so I figure using Republic Commandos with the Training Sergeant and Tarpals would be a nasty combo. Plus, tossing in the Rodian Trader so ALL my Commandos get Grenades-10 and therefore Grenades-30 and using them twice is sick. If this is my main tactic, is it even worth it to have Boss in there?

So heres a couple more questions I just thought up lol:

Scenario/Question:
1 Stormtrooper is adjacent to a Rebel while another Stormtrooper is 8 spaces away. Thrawn and Mas Amedda are on the field as well. If I activate Thrawn and use his CE to switch the position of the 2 Stormtroopers, will the one adjacent to the Rebel provoke an Attack of Opportunity?

Question:
Same Scenario above but the 2 Stormtroopers are Heavy Troopers. If I use Thrawns effect to move them, do they count as moved for them firing?

Multi-Question:
Emplacement, like on Emperor Palpatine on Throne, states that the model can not move or be moved. Does this mean that I can NOT use Thrawns CE to switch him with another model? Can a model with Emplacement be moved by Force Push or other force abilites that move a model? Is there a way to remove abilities like Emplacement?

* Swapping does not provoke an attack of opportunity, and it does not count as movement.

* It does not count as movement. Additionally, it is not on their turn, so even if it were movement they could still attack on their turn if they do not move. There are other commander effects that do allow movement out-of-turn, such as Lord Hoth's. A character could move via Lord Hoth's CE and still make an attack with Heavy Weapon on their own turn.

* Correct, Emplacements cannot change location at all.

1. Swapping pieces does not provoke attacks of opportunity.

2. Swapping Heavy Troopers does not restrict their attacks. Their card says "This character can't attack and move in the same turn." The attack is on the Heavy Stormtrooper's turn, the swap is on Thrawn's.

3. Characters with Emplacement cannot be moved in any way once they are placed.

No, Swap CEs are not considered movement and thus do not provoke attacks of opportunity.

No, for the reason stated above. Also, Heavy Weapon only applies to when a character moves on their own turn. The swap is happening on Thrawn's turn.

Correct. This is noted in the glossary definition.

Quote:

No.

Currently, no. Right now, the only way to change an Emplacement character's position is with a Commander Effect that allows you to re-setup a character (i.e. Leia Hoth Commander). When the CE triggers, the Emplacement character can be placed in a different spot on your half of the board (It still has Emplacement though, so it still can't be moved).

so i have even MORE questions lmao I know some of these make me sound like a noob but theres alot of things I have never come across since I usually just played with 1-2 friends and now I am playing in store tournies.

1)If you have Mandalore the Ultimate and a Basilisk War Droid on the field, the War Droid gets Charging Fire, can it use its Strafe Attack while moving 20 and attacking from Charging Fire?

2)Does Mandalorian Conscription means I can include models from ANY faction?

3)If Mandalore the Indomitable and a Basilisk War Droid are on the field together and the Basilisk uses Strafe Attack, due to the wording on Strafe Attack (it can attack each enemy whose space it enters)does Momentum activate?

1. Yes.
2. No. Mandalorian Conscription takes place after squad building, so you must have a legal squad before it takes effect.
3. As long as the War Droid has moved at least one square, Momentum will activate.

Out of shear curiosity, is there any way to give models Affinity for other factions? Specifically, getting Captain Tarpals from the Republic into an Imperial list?

While that specific combo can't be done currently, some versions of Affinity can also be used to being a different character from another faction into a squad. For example, the Jedi Crusader allows you to bring a Malak or Revan into an Old Republic squad.

Yeah I knew about that and how Ulic Qel-Droma allows you to take Mandalorians into a Sith squad.

There are examples of characters who GRANT what is, in effect, affinity. The ones that come to mind off the top of my head are early versions of Jaina and Jacen Solo. Jacen allowed any version of Leai to be played in a squad he was in, while Jaina allowed Han.
