Special Abilities

  • Speed 4 (Can move only 4 squares and attack, or 8 squares without attacking)
  • Sith Zombie (This character is considered Savage for the purposes of commander effects and is not considered living. It can only receive commander effects from allies with an ability that contains the name Sith Alchemy or Dark Force Spirit.)
  • Reanimated (Whenever this character would be defeated, make 2 saves, each needing 6; if both succeed, this character has 10 Hit Points instead of being defeated (natural critical attack rolls negate this save)
  • Ravenous (This character may move only if it cannot make an Infectious Attack from its starting space and must make this attack against living enemies or allies alike; choosing which ever is closest and has line of sight to it (choose enemy character if both meet criteria); this is ignored if it's currently subject to a commander effect or if an ally within 4 has an ability that contains the name Alchemy or Dark Force Spirit.)
  • Infectious Attack (Replaces attacks: Make a single attack at +10 damage against an adjacent living character (this attack is considered a melee attack). If the attack deals damage to target character, it is considered infected. Each time an infected character activates it must make a save of 2; failure and it is defeated. Whenever a medium sized infected character is defeated, you can immediately add a character named Korriban Sith Zombie to your squad. The new character sets up in a square that infected character formerly occupied.)

Yah... I believe they were in a video game as well but cant remember. Wookieepedia is where I got the info.

I'd like to thank ultrastar for the inspiration to tweak the abilities Sith Zombie and Infectious Attack... I knew there needed to be some reworking but had a case of 'writers block' when it came to it. I think the price cost here currently @ 10 is legit due to the fact that this character can attack its own allies...but I'm open to hearing a different opinion if a case is made :)

Savage seems Pointless with Sith Zombie and Ravenous - you may also want to put in a clause that they cannot target other zombies otherwise once you turn another character into one they would have to duke it out until one of them was defeated.

Thank you for bringing those oversights to my attention - fixed!

I think infectious attack should cause a sort of potent poison on them and once they are defeated they turn into a zombie. Keeps a 10 point zombie from killing a 230 HP guy in one turn.

Hmmm point taken Grievous. However, with Disintegration on a 9 point Gotal Fringer, that's a likely scenario that already exists in the game. I decided to go with an enhanced critical fail roll: if you roll a 1-3 on that save, your piece is now a zombie!

Changed that save roll to a Save of 2. A needed change & one that I believe tames the ability to an acceptable level of potency.

My only real concern is that Infectious Attack doesn't take into account characters of varying size or stats. What if a Rancor is killed by an Infectious Attack?

So what about small characters? I think you'd be alright with "Medium or Small" characters turned into Zombies. Though, now I'm sure you're starting to see the problem I run into with my own zombies: they get so wordy!

They do. I had a near solution (I think) but got a bit side-tracked, and ended up answering your bloomail, haha

And now you have the change made.... Feedback appreciated :)
