Wow..... This is swarm heaven, lol. See, I am a little biased, and I am not a fan of swarms, and the route that this one is going, and the fact that you can still get either Dodonna or San Hill in this squad, makes me wonder how abusive it could become.

I think the key balancer is the Soldiers being affected by this are really really bad. And you can't get any other commanders in to boost them unless you lose the prideful. Plus they have to be close for the effect. I could swap the mines to self destruct 10 if that's better? I figured the 50/50 roll would help the enemy of this squad more than taking auto 10 damage. Could also swap cloaked to stealth. Plus all of the disruptive and bastilla wreck most of this squad anyways and the CE is more to protect them from deep strikes and strafe

If I played this I wouldn't bother with Prideful. Cloaked Elite Geonosian Soldiers and Sonic Cannons with Mines 10 and SD20. Guavian Death Gang Soldiers also lose their glass cannon-ness to an extent. Maybe the CE should be for lower-cost characters as well as the Prideful. That way you avoid possibly broken combos, and only the HSoF is really missed out.

Alright made the CE only affect the same lower cost characters as well as swapped out cloak for the more thematic Hidd Site, which are things we built up in the army to conceal our posistions while in enemy territory. And we often set up claymore mines around those positions as well which is what mines here represents.

I made a Commander that affects soldiers too and since I wanted to avoid the Guavians I just had him affect characters with 20 or less damage. Hide Site is nice (why didn't you just call it a Hunter's Blind since that's what it really is?) Yes, I can see the Claymore/Mine analogy; interesting how we only have Mines 20 by the way.

I too thought about prideful soldiers, but in the end opted for something different as Prideful on a character that cheap would likely either be useless or create a no fun play experience IMO.

Haha I sure did Surf, that was the official name for the Separatists was the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Plus Hide Site is the army term we called it as hunters blind I picture the guy wearing a bright orange hat haha. And mines 10 seemed like a natural evolution of the ability but more toned down for swarms. Also LB hopefully I ended up closer to Useless than NPE haha

It would allow him to benefit from any separatist specific CEs. I haven't looked to see which ones would apply, but even if there isn't any currently, it just seems more fitting.

I hear you, I don't think there is any for his specific point-level and I didn't do it because of his fringe-mess allowing him to be in a Sep squad anyways but I see where you are coming from.
