Commander Effect

Droids are subject to this effect: When a Droid follower is defeated, 1 medium Droid ally with line of sight to this character may immediately move up to its Speed. (This does not count as an activation.) When an Ally whose name contains Battle Droid within 6 squares is defeated, it may make 1 immediate attack at +4 Attack.

General Kalani discerned that the Separatist shutdown order concluding the end of the Clone Wars was a deception, and continued the operation of a vigilant Separatist droid outpost long after the Republic had fallen.

I currently have it where the Rapport is the same ability as Gha Nackt to prevent doubling down on the cost reduction to droids, but I was considering making a separate Rapport for Non-Unique Separatist Droids... which would be better?

I don't play seps that much so im not sure what synergy's there are but im loving this character.

I think it is more than a power 10 right now but loving it. I think you can drop the camaraderie and strategic oversight. Whorm is going to make the death shots twin and that is powerful stuff. Thinking about the BX sniper he will get battle ready and intuition

When the sniper does he will get an accurate shot for 30 base damage as well.

I think Rapport is fine as is and 6pt B2 SBDs w/ Infantry Turret would likely be too good. He's pretty stacked and definitely a power 9.5 character at least. If anything he might be a little much with the strongest Sep options like the BX Commandos- they'd move 18sqrs before the skirmish, and have 30/40dmg deathshots as well as the movement breaker to position them. Kudos for a very cool design overall but I think a way to lessen boosts to stronger Sep droids would be good.

Thanks for that feedback Gandalf, I really appreciate the clarity on the power, rapport, and the commando situation. I'll see what I can do. EDIT: I shifted the death shot CE to a SA that only works for N/C Battle Droid. Changed "Battle Ready" SA to be 1x speed to avoid superspeedy commando droids. Increased character cost. Adjusted Strategic Oversight from 6 squares to adjacent.

I would change the camaraderie from super battle droid's getting infantry turret to "destroyer droid characters gain infantry turret" more fitting and they need the boost. Then you could change the rapport to separatist droid characters and it would help the destroyers more. I also think you should cut a couple abilities here for simplicity's sake. I would drop isolated and strategic oversight.

GG, good points. The major points I'm trying to address here are: 1. Thematically I want to see Separatist swarm squads take a new direction back to the foundations of battle droids/SBDs. 2. Basic Separatist droids need a boost/a reason to be included in a swarm squad. 3. The rapport is currently identical to Gha to prevent abuse, how would you recommend adjusting rapport in light of that? (I might remove it entirely, but that makes Gha an auto-include.)

4. Strategic Oversight is partly to give better detection for Seps, and partly to make sure Kalani is brought into shooting range more often. Suggestions? It may be that I am trying to do too many things here. If you see a simpler way, let me know.

UPDATE: Reworded Camaraderie to move Infantry turret to Destroyer Droids, and include SBDs in Improved Spotter. Removed Isolated, which only impacts the inclusion of Lobot and RBSV. Removed Strategic Oversight, compensated by making movement on death conditioned to LOS to Kalani, and moved death shots to CE. "Overconfident Tactician" added to mimic the decisive strength or underestimation common to Super Tactical Droids.

GG, see the initial comments as to why the rapport is how it is. Trying to avoid making Gha an essential piece to include. Doesn't fit well.
