Special Abilities

  • Melee Attack (Can attack only adjacent enemies)
  • Shaper +10 (Yuuzhan Vong allies within 6 squares get +10 Damage. This bonus damage is multiplied by critical hits.)
  • World Shaper (Choose 1 Unique Yuuzhan Vong ally. That ally gets +4 Attack +10 Damage and Demolish for the rest of the skirmish. Special Abilities and Commander Effects gained through allies, including this character, are considered effective until the end of the skirmish.)
  • Eighth Cortex Shaper (Unique Yuuzhan Vong allies gain Willing to Serve, Yorik-Coral Armor, Fixed Odds, and Retaliatory Attack. Ignore this ability if an ally has the same name as another ally.)
  • Willing to Serve (Counts as a follower for purposes of allied commander effects)
  • Yorik-Coral Armor (Each time an ally within 6 squares rolls a successful save when using Vonduun Crab Armor, it can reduce 20 extra damage with a save of 6.)
  • Fixed Odds (This character is not subject to Special Abilities that modify saves)
  • Retaliatory Attack (If a Unique allied character is defeated by an enemy, this character can make 1 immediate attack)

Commander Effect

This character must have at least 5 Unique Yuuzhan Vong allies at the start of the skirmish.

After setup, you may add 1 Yuuzhan Vong character without Outsider up to 18 points to your squad. The chosen character is considered a reinforcement and is placed adjacent to this character.

10/10 very cool. Giving fixed odds makes it so much more balanced.

I love World Shaper! such a neat ability that upgrades Master Shaper.

Yorik-Coral Armor does need to be toned down. The ability for someone with VCA 6 to reduce the damage another 20 dmg with just a save of 6 would make the Vong nearly unkillable. Neat concept tho! I think a more balanced approach would be to reduce 20 extra damage for the first successful VCA save each phase. Essentially something like how SSM enables someone to negate a lot of damage for 1 attack but then they would still be susceptible to more damage from other attacks. It'd be like a one time use of SSM for each Vong each phase.
