Card Text

When a living Medium or Small enemy without Self-Destruct is defeated by this character, remove 20 damage from this character; a new Undead character is not created. When a living Large or Huge enemy without Self-Destruct is defeated by this character, remove 10 damage from this character. When this character is defeated, each enemy it swallowed returns to play under your control in an Undead form in a square this character formerly occupied, following the rules of The Sickness.

Glossary Text

This Undead monstrosity is able to consume living beings whole. If this character defeats a Medium or Small living enemy, 20 damage is removed from this character. If the enemy has Self-Destruct, it is still defeated, but the character does not remove 20 damage. While The Sickness allows +10 damage against living beings, the latter portion of the ability is ignored and a new Undead character does not take the enemy's place, to represent the character being eaten whole. A Large or Huge enemy defeated by this character follows the same rules as Consume, and those enemies are subject to The Sickness and can be turned Undead; both rulings are nullified if the enemy has Self-Destruct. When this character is defeated, each Medium or Small living enemy it swallowed returns to play under your control. These characters are immediately restored to half health and join your squad, suffer -2 Attack, -2 Defense and get the following special abilities: Undead, Speed 4, Melee Attack, The Sickness, Bloodthirsty, Consume, Horde +2, Outbreak, Re-Animate and Recollection. Each enemy loses its commander effect, any unspent Force points and cannot use any of its prior special abilities or Force powers. If any of the enemies had Speed 8, they lose Speed 8 and do not get Speed 4. Small enemies get Horde +1 instead of Horde +2. These new characters set up in the square that the character who originally swallowed them formerly occupied and enter the battlefield activated. If the character swallowed more enemies than his space would allow, the new controller chooses where to place them in as many adjacent squares as needed.
