I kind of doubt it. Even if Daala proves to be tier 1 (not yet known), I really would not expect that she will dominate to the extent that she is used in great enough numbers to persuade anyone to use Yobuck/Lancer if they weren't planning to do so already. *shrug*

Granted they did see signifcant play but that candle did seem to burn brightly, then fade just as fast to a fleeting fancy.

In a meta dominated by Imperials, Yobuck can do really well, because he has answers for most of their strategies (easy kills on Cad, mow down Snow Troopers, etc). However, the Lancer tends to do well in those matchups too. If Gallop is going to be used more, I'd be more inclined to think it would be with some of the new Set 6 Galloping pieces.
However, I'm not sure the Imperials will be dominating the meta. Daala squads will be good, but so will many other things, which I think will keep Yobuck from being a solid choice (because he now has a lot of bad matchups).

In New Zealand, we've had two official tournaments since set 6 was released. Daala won the Hutt100 (a 100 point tournament), with Elite Scout Troopers, reasonably convincingly. In HaweraCon, a 150 point tournament, the three Daala squads placed 1st, 2nd, and 4th in a field of 12 - two squads were running Elite Scouts and the eventual winner was running Snowtroopers. I don't see a reason why they won't be good at 200 either, apart from the fact that strafers and gallopers will be more predominant.

I think Snowtroopers will tend to be the better build than the Elite Scouts, due to the range they get from the Zygerrians.
However, my favorite version right now is this one:
--Sandtrooper Deep Strike-- 27 Admiral Daala 20 Admiral Piett 15 Flim 15 Security Officer Stormtrooper 14 Stormtrooper Commander 13 Imperial Officer 24 Elite Scout Trooper x2 11 Captain Needa 8 Mas Amedda 8 R7 Astromech Droid 24 Zygerrian Slaver x3 14 Sandtrooper x2 4 Raxus Prime Trooper 3 Ugnaught Demolitionist
(200pts. 18 activations)
I don't think it is as strong as a Snowtrooper squad, but the deep strike is so fun if you can pull it off. Round 1... move a Sandtrooper up to about 48 squares in 4 turns (so you can also open up doors along the way if needed). Then on the 4th turn, +12 for 60dmg. Followed by +12 for 50dmg.

To be honest, I run Elite Scout Troopers out of necessity, as I don't have many Troopers in bulk (only regular Stormtroopers and 501sts). I do think they have some advantages though - 50hp means that they can survive a Lancer strafe, and with Stealth and Evade, they can avoid ranged damage really well. They're also reasonably self-sufficient without needing many CEs, which means that you don't need to worry about running pieces like Disra or spend 8 points on Mas Amedda - just running Pellaeon should be enough to deal with Bastila squads. I liked Sharron's 150 build with a Zygerrian Slaver and Raxus Primes - I think Raxus Primes are ideal for deep strikes. I'd run something like this at 200, if I had Raxus Primes: --200 points of Scout Troopers-- 27 Admiral Daala 21 Marn Hierogryph 16 Admiral Gilad Pellaeon 16 Grand Admiral Rulf Yage 84 Elite Scout Trooper x7 8 R7 Astromech Droid 8 Zygerrian Slaver 5 Caamasi Noble 12 Raxus Prime Trooper x3 3 Ugnaught Demolitionist (200pts. 18 activations) Marn is like a mini-Lobot - he can help in some matchups like some self-destructing scrubs against strafe (assuming they have Poggle the Lesser as well), Wicket against high defense guys, another Zygerrian Slaver or R7, Figrin D'an against accurate shooters, or a Treadwell against Nom bombs. It would probably lose to high activation Daala swarms, but it would be more well-rounded against bad matchups like Bastila and strafe.
