Bill, Im not sure what makes you the expert on everything that is Star Wars miniatures, but you seem to have a hard time understanding that someones opinion is just that, an opinion. You guys can break down every sentence of every paragraph that I write, thats fine with me, Im actually flattered that you take the time out to do that.
When I say play test, I mean to take certain pieces and pair them against other pieces somewhat similar to each other, I do this all of the time, and thats how I build squads.
To me, it seems more like you are against GMLS then anything else.
It doesn't matter how you play the game, it matters that the game gets played, and thats the part some of you are failing to see. I can say that I play 5 different Lukes against 5 different Vaders, and you will turn your nose at the idea of it because its not "competitive play".
Factionless squads are fun, and I have been saying it for YEARS, but now Bill, you jump on the band wagon, because you probably know as many of us do, that
This game was ORIGINALLY DESIGNED to be played for fun, not to have people run around thinking they are the messiah of plastic pieces. How can someones ego be so grandiose?

Mod Edit: Cleaned of off topic and baiting content.

I'm going to make something clear. This thread is talking about a theoretical meta. To have one, you need a competitive enviroment. I'm pretty certain that is the topic of this thread. Leave all personal beefs out of it. Get back on topic NOW.

Ooglith Masquer the Mouse, and keep Yularen out of sight.

You do know that the mouse does not get super stealth?

If you are relying on the 10 damage bombs, that usually does not deter most teams. That makes Nom expensive for super stealth; use Nyna.

You really have only 1 shooter, 6 turns (few opportunist chances without accurate shot), and zero door control. I have a 3 year-old Rebel swarm squad anchored by Han-STA that would destroy this. The teens at our LGS would not have much trouble beating this with a team using almost any faction.

I know that you have mentioned that you are not concerned about playing "competitive" teams, but they should have a good chance to win. This team sounds like it would be "fun" to put a hurt on someone (Bane with opportunist), but it may fall just as hard, which will not be fun or competitive.

I think this was intended to be posted in another thread. The idea is one lightside and one darkside faction, plus fringe.

The 8 wookiees with super-stealth all shoot at +10/30 against anyone, activated or not (they have cunning). The bombs are 20 damage each. But yeah, the mouse doesn't get SS, though I must admit, even a mouse with normal stealth is kind of funny. ;)
