Thanks, been a long long time since I read Tails of the Jedi so was not sure, Though I thought they were on the side of the republic, with the exception of a few dark side worshipers.

Also, Luke HPU might be worth 44 points with Twin and Pilot support. He is the only Luke other than RebCom that will be worth 44 points, IMHO.
If only Luke of Dagobah could get an Atk bonus. *sigh* Part of the advantage of Versatility is that you can tailor your squad to the opponent. Luke Legacy may not be the preferred option in most builds, but I can definitely see situations where you look at the opponent and say - oh... melee is just not going to work here. I really, really, really need a shooter instead. I can definitely see accurate GMA double/twin shooter being better than a melee beat against some opponents, even if the shooter is overcosted.

Also, Les' set breakdown for Vehicles of War from Gamers is interesting - I guess lots of Seps and Republic isn't too surprising, but it'll be interesting to see what factions like Rebel and Vong get: Quote:Vehicles of War
Old Repubic 1.
Republic 2. 3. 4.Infantry Support Platform*
Separatists 5. 6. 7. 8.
Rebels 9.
Imperials 10.
Fringe
11. URoRRuR'R'R'R on Bantha*
Yuuzhan Vong 12.

Perhaps a A pretty basic cheap Training Yoda could boost his attack. I'd like that because I like Luke of Dagobah (especially his sculpt) he just isn't very good

Not sure how i feel about this luke. I like the piece, but i cant imagine ever swapping him for a lesser value luke. I guess Luke Skywalker, Legacy of the Light Side is really the only good option. The other lukes that you could really benefit from arent really worth paying 15+ points for twin attack for, especially since you're not getting a commander effect like the other versatile characters.
That being said, it im sure we'll get additional options in the future.

I'm excited to see what can be done with him, especially in the future. But Luke Legacy with Twin or even Luke, Rebel Commando with Twin could be very nice. Heck Luke, Hero of Yavin with Djem So might be really interesting.

It's probably not worth it, but it would be amazing to swap this Luke with Rebel Commando and then use Watto and Celeste to give him the bonus attack rating he needs.
It might be fun to use Enraged Wookie in that build too?!

I want to swap Luke for Legacy, run Celeste, Watto and Malakili, give Luke Savage and then have Legacy Luke sit in the back (stealth!) and accurate shot with GMA, Double and Twin for an unstoppable mass of damage. Boo-freakin'-yah.

Boo-freakin'-yah. Does it work to start without Savage (Empathy from Malakili), step outside the Empathy bubble with GMA, gain Savage for the bonus and unstoppable damage, and then step back inside the Empathy bubble so you aren't forced to run out into the fray?

That's one for Scott to come by and answer. I hate savage and shooters.

I believe that technically, movement is one action that just happens to be interrupted by Mobile Attack or GMA... you aren't starting a new move after the attack, just finishing up the original move.

Yes. As long as you can't base an enemy using double speed, you are free to move as you wish.

swinefeld wrote:Yes. As long as you can't base an enemy using double speed, you are free to move as you wish. Right. But what if there is an enemy 10 squares away? You start with Empathy, so you don't have to base him. If you move out of the Empathy bubble, can you finish your move as if you don't have Savage since you started your move that way, or do you then have to run up and base the enemy? Even stranger... suppose you are in the Empathy bubble with an enemy 5 squares away. You go backward away from the enemy outside the Empathy bubble so that you have moved 2 and are 7 squares away from the enemy, but those 7 squares all grant Empathy. Now what? (If Savage is only checked at the beginning of the move, then it doesn't matter... same situation as before.) According to EmporerDragon, you check Savage at the beginning of the turn: http://www.bloomilk.com/forums/default.aspx?g=posts&t=7808It wasn't contradicted, but I haven't found the Nickname or Sithborg response.
