Important to note that his full name is Minos, Yuuzhan Vong Warrior.
That should give you a little insight to a major boost he has available.

Oops, they said that on Miniverse, but I thought they were just fleshing out who he was in universe. So he can get Double from the Subaltern?

#8 of 10 piece Invasion Microset Minos RM: Nien Numb 27 points, 70 hp, 17 def, 9 att, 10 dam SA: Unique, melee, twin attack, camaraderie (ally named Commander Sha'kel gains Opportunist), Force Immunity, Opportunist +10, Thud Bug, VCA 11 Curious what people think of this guy I'd have to see Commander Sha'kel to really know his value, but my first thought is that he's not very different from an Ossus Guardian. Slightly lower stats for 1 more point. Thud Bug instead of Razorbug is pretty even (which is better is situational). Opportunist instead of Jedi Hunter is probably a step up. VCA 11 instead of VCA 6 is a step down. Does being Unique buy him a big boost somewhere that I'm forgetting? Other than that, he seems costed appropriately compared to the Ossus Guardian, but is similar enough that I'm not too excited about it. Nice to have a new combination of abilities, but I get the feeling that seeing how much Opportunist helps Sha'kel will play a big role in his ultimate usefulness. Mostly my thoughts. In a vacuum, I can't tell if he's worth the points. and here's a little quote to pique interest of the spoiler within the spoiler: "swinefeld" wrote:this guy is a badass :little devil smilie:

This holiday in America commemorates the beautiful harmony that the native populous achieved with the people from a far away land. The natives welcomed the outsiders in and helped them survive with a great feast. (Or at least that's what we're told in elementary school.) In that same tradition, this character coming up in Vset 7 was a leader of a native population, who chose to work in harmony with a specific group of outsiders. (Check for the full stat spoiler on that other website)

He must be one of the more significant OT characters to not have a mini yet!

Catching some SHNN quickly before my daughter wakes up, but there are 2 previews. Don't have time to transcribe them, but they're something like this:

We got given two previews for a local tournament, and I've been holding an "Ugnaught Transmission" on Bloomilk. SignerJ just nailed this one, so here it goes: Quote:21. Geonosian Elite Soldier -- Separatist -- RM: Wookiee Scout (RotS 23) Cost 16
Hit Points 50 Defense 18 Attack +9 Damage 20
Special Abilities
Elite Beam Weapon [Replaces turn: Make 1 attack at +13 Attack and 40 Damage; you cannot use Twin Attack, allies cannot combine fire this turn, and this attack cannot be prevented or redirected]
Flight [Ignores difficult terrain, enemy characters, low objects, and pits when moving]
Rapport [Characters named Geonosian Soldier cost 2 less when in the same squad as this character]
Sonic Attack [An enemy attacked by this character cannot use Force powers for the rest of that turn]
Synergy +4 [Allies named Geonosian Soldier get +4 Attack while within 6 squares of this character]

wow! that geonosion looks awesome! I always loved the idea of sonic attack now it will get plenty of use! Then I was thinking the geonosions would become too powerful with Poggle, but even now costing 6 points they only have +6 attack (now due to synergy) so nothing overpowered here! I have a question, with poggles rapport would the EGS benefit from the Techno Union Combat Engineer's Mutant/Cyborg Experimentation?

The other character from the Ugnaught Transmission is: #17 Republic Master Tholme RM: General Kenobi Cost 36 Hit Points: 120Defense: 21Attack: +12Damage: 20UniqueMelee Attack (Can attack only adjacent enemies) Double Attack (On his turn, this character can make 1 extra attack instead of moving) Distraction (Suppresses adjacent enemy commander effects) Avoid Defeat (Whenever this character would be defeated, make 2 saves, each needing 11; if both succeed, this character has 10 Hit Points instead of being defeated) Stealth (If this character has cover, he does not count as the nearest enemy for an attacker farther than 6 squares when choosing targets) Force 5Force Heal 30 (Force 2, replaces attacks: touch; remove 30 damage from a living character) Force Withdrawal (Force 1, usable only on this character's turn: Until the start of this character's next turn or until he spends a Force point, he gains Force Immunity) Jedi Mind Trick 2 (Force 2, usable only on this character's turn: range 2; target living enemy and 2 living enemies adjacent to that target are considered activated this round and cannot make attacks of opportunity this turn; save 11) Lightsaber Defense (Force 1: When hit by an attack, this character takes no damage with a save of 11)

According to my count, we now have 13 full previews. What's exciting you so far?
My favourites so far: Covenant Executor - handing out Force Leap seems really useful - allies means pieces like Revan (bought in via Jedi Crusader) can get it.
Mandalorian Demolitionist - I think this is going to end up in most Mando squads from here on it. Ranged door explosions and a shooter for 6 points is great.
Yoda, Hero of Geonosis - seems like potentially a powerhouse for 100 points. He has some bad matchups, like I can't see him coping with swarm-type squads well, but with R2 Astromech he's going to be able to get where he wants to quickly, and clean house. New Tholme with Force Pull and Distraction might a really good partner for him too.

As a Tholme fanboy, I am happy. I would have liked to see something that made him count as "defeated" once per game but Force Withdrawal works for that.
