Both of those characters are awesome! People complained about Luke but he doesn't look bad at all, and Maul stands alone pretty good. Not sure who I wouuld put with Maul...the new Dooku might be a fun choice

Not really, unless youre referring to the SS dooku. The new one cant attack, and his CE, Main force power, and Reserves are useless. However, the SS Dooku would definitely be a good choice. No Ataru Style Master for Yoda!

You are correct, I forgot that he didn't have his own attacks... I just got the download and was reminded. For some reason I was thinking had Block and could draw an attack only to foil it...blah! He really needs a swarm of BDs!

What Vader has going for him is the fact that he can use Overwhelming Force 2 on Czulkang (which I wholeheartedly believe is wrong) and Czulkang doesn't get his crab armor or Counterattack.

I wholeheartedly agree with you. It doesn't make much sense conceptually, nor does it feel in line with Wizard's treatment of the YV faction. This is from the perspective of a SWM player whose YV pieces have never seen a skirmish.

Umm, Overwhelming Force could always be used against the Vong. It is completely in line with how all other Force Powers interacted with Force Immunity, like Sith Rage.

We discussed this ad nauseum at the Tournament. I understand the reasoning for why Overwhelming Force works on Vong (even if it shouldn't if you think about it from an in-universe explanation), but the extra stuff with Overwhelming Force 2 makes me think it shouldn't work against Vong. Most people seemed to agree with me, but understood why it was ruled the way it was in the tournament.

IMHO, Rage affects the user, thus keeping with WotC's concept of Force Immunity. Overwhelming Force (1 or 2) affects the target's ability to react to the user's attacks, which is not in keeping with WotC's concept of FI as I see it. The same can be said for Mettle stacking. Nothing else stacks, yet WotC seems to contradict themselves by having Mettle stack.

Mettle is an exception that is explicitly stated in the glossary. That is why it stacks, not because of some weirdo ruling. Some stuff should work differently than others. But, I view the rules as very black and white, with only a few rare rules weirdness.

There is some wording things that is bugging me about the printed Overwhelming Force 2, right now. Due to No Disntegrations being a tough thing to work out, I must have missed it.

In universe, I don't see how it is much different than Sith Rage. He is using the force for a very, very powerful blow that won't be stopped. That is why I wanted it on the Epic Vader.

i think sith borg is right about the overwhelming force, it is affecting the user, like sith rage it "boosts" the attacker, but rather than adding bonus damage, it makes the exsiting damage more sticky.

i do agree that overwhelming force shouldnt bypass vondun crab armor though, because to me the overwelming force is being projected through the lightsaber, which already bypasses DR and DA respectivly but has a hard time with vonduun crab armor.
