Finally, after years of waiting, with Watto and Tott, we can put someone inside the bacta tank.

LolLOL Lota good that would do. BTW that new ZCD looks awesome! I'm really sad he can't be in a CIS squad, but for how good he is I can definitely understand it.

I LOVE TOTT!!! /me blows dust of Acklay. Acklay and the Shadow Guard will be a fun combo to try with her melee reach 2 and bodyguard. with bodyguard, you should never have to worry about getting killed if the Acklay dies becuase she would just take the damage for it. I have a question about tamer ability. If the rider dies somehow before the beast does, does the beast get savage back?

**EDIT found my answer on the card itself. It stays savage-less until the end of the skirmish.

Thanks Chris. Let's just keep it there - maybe increase traffic a bit.

Yep, I'd love to see some posts over there that aren't in the design forums. (ie, work related Wink )

Create an account there if you can't see it. It is under the member only "Upcoming sets and spoilers."

I made a SWMgamers account and I have to say I still prefer Bloomilk 100%.
As for the spoiled character: I wasn't overly impressed, but what do you expect from a 5 point character? Still it's better than the original version. The Squad limitation is the reason why I won't be using him in more than 1 squad and it's going to be a theme squad that won't be any where near the competitive squads.

I think that the "theme" squad he brings to the table could be very competitive.

I agree With all of the new Ewok and Endor Peices in the last few sets and this one it seems they could be Competitive, and still fun at the same time. Plus you can still use luke to levitate him if you realy feel the need... lol

I'd like to point out that the Golden god does not have speed restrictions as the old one did, so he functions as if he has wheels on his throne.

As for the piece. For 5 points, he has some serious restrictions, but he's niche, he has 1 purpose, and for that design, he does exactly what he should. I for one am happy that we finally have some competive ewok options. As I said on SWMGamers, the option to bring R2's name into his stat blocks gives them a themed fighting chance now.

Threw this together:

Endure my Wrath
50 Chewbacca and Ewoks in AT-ST (Boosts all characters defense)
44 Luke Skywalker, Hero of Endor (Beat)
38 Han Solo, Rebel General (Evade to luke and chewy, allows them to use Golden/Chirpa bonus without being slowed)
19 Ewok Chieftain (Scrub-Walk attack bonus)
16 Chirpa (Universal attack and move bonus)
9 R2-D2 with Extended Sensor (door control)
5 Golden One (Boosts all characters)
18 Ewok x6 (Swarm bonuses from all character)

The synergy in this squad is insane... everyone is boosting everyone. Plus it looks fun as heck. Chirpa with Golden One solves a major issue the rebels have suffered from since Rebel storm, which is the lack of attack bonus. With that addition, Ewok-ST has a chance to hit something, and with han, it can survive longer, effectively resolving all the problems I initially had with the pieces design. Golden one makes Luke of Endor, our first Luke with teeth, even more deadly as he now has access to a movement breaker that isn't mouse dependent.

Must say, as (possibly) the biggest ewok fanboy this site's ever seen (I've got a teek and noa custom for god's sake), I think you guys did a great job. I've been asking for ways to make themed squads more competitive, and while i don't expect them to ever be top tier when you restrict yourself to flavor instead of efficiency, at least I feel like i could play with these pieces now and still put up a really solid fight.

10/10 for the v-team.

This encapsulates the goal for this piece (and several others in this set) perfectly. We want you to be able to play a well built "fun" and "theme" squad, and while maybe not win a regional or make the GenCon top 8 with it, certainly win some games and be competitive with it.

Well so far only 1 character I don't like, well that's not true as I do like the character I just think he should have cost more, but other than cost a well thought out mini, I wonder if you can guess who I mean?

Anyway I have updated a few more into post 1, there are going to be lots I have missed though, if someone wants to post who and page the character is on I will try to complete page 1 update as soon as I can.
