Space trooper is going to be fun in GARY squad on the Sith. Pawn those suckers, soak the damage, then both shoot and Missile.

Sith General or the DRK-1 could be really fun with that. Toss in Exar DFS to help the missile damage stick. Too bad there isn't a Sith Reinforcements 20 piece. hint, hint ;)

Special Abilities Armored Space Suit [Immune to critical hits]
Flight [Ignores difficult terrain, enemy characters, low objects, and pits when moving]
Heavy Weapon [Can't attack and move in the same turn]
Missiles 30 [Replaces attacks, sight: 30 damage to target and to each character adjacent to that target; save 11]
Penetration 20 [Enemies' Damage Reduction is reduced by 20 against this character's attacks]
Rapport [Costs 2 less when in the same squad as a character named Grand Admiral Thrawn]
Shields 2 [When this character takes damage, make 2 saves, each needing 11; each success reduces the damage dealt by 10]
Stable Platform [After making an attack on its turn, this character may immediately use a special ability that replaces attacks]
The Rapport text specifically says Grand Admiral Thrawn. So, does this mean that they would not cost two less with the other Thrawn?

i Believe it was intended to bring the old thrwan back into play. Plus they already synergize well. You can still get him opportunist through Piett though.

They are generally posted around the time GenCon starts. They're not legal at GenCon, though, except for the booster tournament. They're legal after GenCon.

Sometime around GenCon, I think I just saw somewhere the 15th of August for the PDFs (this could be very wrong in terms of an exact date, round GenCon should be right though,) we will probably get cards after that since I believe they are handed out to pointmen at GenCon.
I'm really excited too. I think Galactic Heroes was my favorite V-set, but this one looks like it could top it

You asked about the PDFs, Well if this is the first Vset since you got back into the game, I would strongly suggest you try to get a hard copy. If you have a pointman for your area send that member a PM to see if they can get you a set. If you do and like the set you can always donate towards the next set. However donating is not required to have a set. I know donations to fund this set was slow but I have been told the asking amount was reached. So free sets should be available. Glad to see old players finding there way back into the game.

Love this Piece But Seriously it is great to give galactic Han Pilot. You could build around that. Also you can do a combo of Leia, Chewy and Winter for the combo of Protective, maybe even throw in Han or one of the kids for added benefit. Could be very hard hitting and fun to see.

VS. Chewbacca, Wookiee of LegendWoohoo! What do I win? Oh yeah, an officially awesome Chewbacca in the NR! Wookiee Roar would have been nice, though.

That Chewie looks awesome. Might be my favorite piece of the set so far.
Still gets crushed by moons, but hey, nothing we can do about that! lol

With Zekk, Chewbacca, and Han Galactic Hero with Pilot or with access to Pilot, I think Jagged Fel is going to see a lot of play. Han GH is way better with that extra +4. I was playing around last night with Han GH, Chewie, Zekk, Ganner, Momaw, Jagged, Dodonna, and filler - I lost (Jaq Rand spent an entire round avoiding defeat like a boss) but I still really liked it, as it has lot of fun options.

Zekk sounds like a such a fun call with them, his damage output can be stellar, and between Ganner levitating him and him pulling people next to him he has a killer threat range for a melee piece. Especially if you can squeeze in a Klat to give him Speed 8. Were you playing him with a Spirit? or was he doing ok without renewal?

Were you playing him with a Spirit? or was he doing ok without renewal? I don't think he's ever going to survive long enough to need a Spirit. I made a bad call and levitated him into the midst of my opponent's squad for a sweep mid-round - it was an awesome sweep, but Zekk went down straight afterwards. Would have been much better to wait my opponent out, then use Force Pull to give Chewbacca and Han a clear shot at something (Momaw had already done cleanout so there was only big stuff left). You could also use Dash instead of Zekk - he fits pretty well. I don't think it's a top tier competitive build, but it was super fun.
