On the river, I thought that the minute I looked at him, I'd know what to do, but it didn't happen. I was in there with him for days, not under guard; I was free, but he knew I wasn't going anywhere. He knew more about what I was going to do than I did. If the generals back in Nha Trang could see what I saw, would they still want me to kill him? More than ever, probably. And what would his people back home want if they ever learned just how far from them he'd really gone? He broke from them, and then he broke from himself. I'd never seen a man so broken up and ripped apart.

I don't think so, but maybe it is. MIGS Con looks like it was much more historical wargames oriented, where Hammercon is more board game and RPG oriented. I actually had no idea these guys existed. I haven't been in the Hammer for that long.

That's great Gerry. I just found out I am expressly forbidden from charging any extra fees for entry, so I'm happy to have something to offer anyway.

Can I get some confirmed numbers here people? These Hammercon organizers are pretty hung up on expected attendance. Thanks.

Battle of Hoth went great this morning. Gave 3 non-SWM players a good time and awed the crowd with the set up. I used Blizzard 1, but gave him 700 HP instead of 350, he still went down before the others. I used a couple custom Reb characters which really helped them dish out the damage and keep the commanders from getting hosed. I also used a couple of Imperial custom characters that were more to keep the game interesting.
I played a bit of X-Wing with some very green beginners, but it was good fun. We played 60 pt, classic match up. I flew Luke and really showed them how it was done. ;)
Also dabbled in a bit of MERCS.
Bring on tomorrow and the full day of Star Wars tournaments.
