Marn, yes! Con artist rocks! Very fun nice piece I will fit into my squads if possible. Great to see Zayne get a boost too, curious as to what "restrictions" it's ignoring. Droid/Vong only? Commanders only? Non-uniques?

Any restriction on a commander effect is ignored (name, range, class, faction).

Obviously, there are CE's that won't work like characters granting extra attacks/movement at the end of the turn isn't gonna work with con artist because the other person will be in control of when the piece moves; you'd be dumb to chose swap because Marn will become a pawn for Thrawn/revan etc. Tempo control doesn't work because its not specific to a character.

But he will be able to take Whorms and use it boards wide, Gowks, Gen Sky, etc

Unfortunately it's supposed to say "enemy" commander effect but it must've got lost in proofing some how. I know it was brought up but it got omitted for some reason Blushing

Watto is horrifying. He can give some of the heavy shooters (rex, cadbane, etc), savage who can then get access to overwhelming force. As long as they hang back they can shoot unblockable bullets, at +4/+10 with celeste. Or can give jaina/mace the same.

savages are difficult to deal with though, so it's not all upsides. Plus when they are applicable to savage CE's they usually are usually exempt from others.

Some of them are in already. My head is spining.

No Blizz. *tear drop*. Maybe next time. But, until then, off to the custom creation room... Aka my kitchen table.

Not a big deal, that's why we have the glossary (and or errata).

Considering the time frame you had to deal with, everyone did amazing just to get the set out.

And it's still much more error free than wizards's stuff, and they got PAID to do what they did!

Congrats on yet another v-set.

Does anyone else have poblem with the the quality of the pdf ?
I can hardly read the text and when I zoom it gets really grainy. Have no problem with the other sets. Not sure what gives.

Cheers

Image resolution is low due to the time constraints with getting the cards done and the PDF being made from the card images used for proofing.

Perhaps at some point a new PDF can be generated from higher resolution images.

More coming very soon.

The pieces with Rapport/Affinity etc will take a bit longer to get up and running.

I'd peg the new Ackbar as my favorite of the set. When teamed up with a Rebel Leader, he'll really bring combining fire back to the game.

Also, I do find it odd that the Mandalorian Flame Trooper does not have Flamethrower. It really seems like an implied ability considering the name.

You can call it a "flame thrower." You can call it a "Fire Thrower." I think he may need some penicillin.

Just on a quick quick over view Mako actually looked really fun. I loved evazan, something about the healers maybe. Now all we need is caleb next set!

I only ask because some of the comments lead to me believe, but does any one have this in hand already?

Can we have clarification on how Malgus's CE works. Does he have to have line of site to the enemy u wanna move as well as the ally u r killing off?? If thats the case, if u have stealth/cloaked u would b safe in cover correct?

It says "target" enemy so I believe that means you have to be able to target them.

Can you please change title of thread to include that this is now the place to discuss vset 5. My spoiler thread is now closed as far as I am concerned as the sets been officially given out.

Thanks
