Anakin Solo and Lord Kaan are maybe the best Klat Assassin counters out there; they're nasty for 12 points.

Having plenty of experience against SD centered squads, VCA really slows down it's effectiveness.

As for the second part, NEVER happenening. Rob got rid of that version of MR for a reason. I am not a fan of bringing it back. As is, Rolling Cleave works nicely enough.

Wouldn't that work the same as Telekinetic Combat with a range of 2 instead of 6? Not that I'm lobbying for it, but it doesn't seem like it would present any new rules issues.

Levitation Attack is non-melee, like Lightsaber Throw.

Or, maybe, have a SA that specifically nerfs Cloaked, but leaves Stealth alone? That way, both Stealth and Cloaked can be nerfed, but only specifically. For example, we have It's a Trap! for Stealth. Why not something like that for Cloaked?


I am firmly against having a SA that would nerf cloaked or SD. Isn't the whole point of cloaked and SD that there something really hard to counter? Having a new SA to counter either would ruin a good deal of pieces and take away the effectiveness of both.

I agree that Cloaked should be really hard to counter. But there's a problem when it starts showing up on a lot of different pieces, some of which maybe should never have had that SA to begin with. In other words, what do we do when it gets out of hand?

I would say it wont get out of hand. the designers are reading our posts and i think they understand where things have went wrong and won't allow it to happen in the future, but this all goes back to an idea i have been hitting on a lot recently and that is PLAYTESTING, i know for a fact the designers need and have had a shortage of real quality playtesting and as a communitty we should step up and contribute to that process more.

Yes, thank you! That's probably the biggest current need or lack or weak spot in the process right now: we need more playtesters.
