7 sets of Commander's so far. I'm liking this.

I'll be using Vassal. I only have 5 maps, and not nearly enough pieces to use sensible proxies for most characters

Jak/Juiceman, Jen'ari/Deathsbaine, and pego/spry can you guys either confirm vassal or else send me a list of all of the maps you have? I'll be choosing them for the first round and posting them tomorrow. So I need to know which maps I can choose from for each group. Also still waiting on an opponent for SignerJ if anyone lurking and checking out this thread is up for a vassal opponent. Or any final pairs signing up to play in person. The campaign begins on this upcoming Tuesday, from that point you will have to check you bloomail for piece allocations from myself (Loyal Confederates) or spry (Traitorous Rebels hahaha) and then build a 200 point squad using any legal combination of those pieces (you can bloomail your supreme commander for clarification or to run the team by us to ensure it's legal before using it, if there is a problem we can catch it before having to auto lose the game because people decided to bring Ugnaughts or a unique they were not assigned). Just waiting on map lists from those players and then the first round can begin. General Spry are you prepped on your end?

Commanders,

Some of you I know and fought with during the Clone Wars, others are new to the Confederacy since but have found their way up the ranks by a combination of intelligence, skill, and tactical prowess. You have all been found worthy by the Emperor to be placed in command of several different task forces, each with a different focus suited too the needs of your missions during the upcoming campaign.

By now I'm sure you have all been made aware of the situation that has arisen as of late. What was once sporadic attacks by cowardly Jedi and disgruntled Nerf herders has turned into an organized rabble. The Emperor has deemed that the time is now to secure Confederate holdings, bring the fringe factions in line and eliminate this spark of rebellion before it becomes something more.

As is your orders are as follows:

Commander PegoLego, as a trusted and proven commander from the Clone Wars, you have been chosen to lead the campaign on the first Rebel stronghold. You will return to the sands of Tatooine and secure a foothold on the planet. Though it seems to be a backwater planet, you may recall the harsh fighting that occurred here during the war. The terrain is inhospitable and has bred a harsh populace that could be of aid to our cause or a curse upon our droids. The Rebel forces have organized a strong resistance with the local Jawas on the planet. This seemingly insignificant race has actually created powerful ion weaponry which will be a deadly asset in the hands of our enemies. This must not happen. I'm sure by routing the rebel forces and then rounding up and disposing of the current Jawa leaders you will be able to "persuade" the rest of the species to fall in line. You should liaison with commanders Amadeus and Ladcadio for distribution of supplies on completion of your mission as they too will be dispatched to Tatooine on separate missions.

Commander Amadeus,
You are to accompany PegoLego and Lafcadio to Tatooine. But while their forces occupy the bulk of the Rebels you will move your force to the residence of Jabba the Hutt. He is the current leader of the Hutt ruling council and the Emperor wishes to know why he has been turning a blind eye to the Rebels' presence on his planet. I'm sure by eliminating whatever Rebel forces you will no doubt encounter at the palace will remind the Hutts of their place in the Confederacy and what happens to those that step out of line. While Commander Pego is in charge of the overall ground campaign, your mission is of vital importance to secure the Hutts as allies.

Commander Jen'ari,
Your mission is to take a force to Skor II, publicly, this is a major trade network for the Confederacy but secretly, this is also a hub for all supplies needed and bound for the Death Star. Through San Hill and assests in the Banking Clan we have been informed that the Rebels are going to be attempting a raid on these supplies. Nothing must prevent the Death Star from being finished on time. Protect the supplies and secure the trade route.

Commander Jak,
As an old ally from the Clone Wars I wonder if you remember the Bounty Hunter named Boba Fett? He and his father fought for us against the Republic, but at the end of the war he returned to his father's Bounty Hunter ways and has been more or less operating in the fringes of society ever since. He is a ghost, a shadow, and a skilled hunter. I have received reports that the Rebels are attempting to employ Fett on a full time contract for the war. Where they are getting this vast amount of funds required to pay the Mandalorian's fee San Hill is currently looking into, but more importantly you must intercept this Rebel group and retrieve the credits which we will then use to hire Fett to our side. His assistance will be needed in several high-level assassinations that Sideous has planned. We already have the hammer in our powerful droid armies, you must bring us the scalpel.

Commander Lafcadio,
I will have you accompany PegoLego and Amadeus in the Tatooine ground campaign. I have reports that there is a high level meeting of Rebel dignitaries in a well-know local Cantina in Mos Eisley. Reports have stated that there may even be jedi in their ranks. For this purpose you will lead the strike on this Cantina and attempt to cut off the head of the snake before it can slither away. Hitting the planet just after PegoLego's main assault should allow you to be ignored by the bulk of the Rebel forces and move to the enemies location undetected until it is too late. I trust you will prove as good as Dooku says you are.

Commander SignerJ,
I will be dispatching you with a strike force to take to Eshan. We had heard reports of Rebel activity in the area and previously dispatched a recon team to investigate. That team has gone silent, but only after reporting that there was some third party engaging both them and the Rebels. Whoever this third party is, we need to show what happens when you take on the confederacy. Either eliminate them or convince them to serve under us. And commander, remove any Rebels that you happen to run into.

Commander Lord Razzia
In the early phases of this war we need to focus on securing the fringe assets that could become either a bane of our droids or a powerful weapon in our arsenal. One in particular I have chosen as a test of both your strategic and diplomatic prowess. I wonder, have you heard of the pirate Hondo Ohnaka? That was a name well known in both a negative and positive light during the Clone Wars. He is a a Weequay who runs the largest pirate gang this galaxy knows but who remains unaligned with anything but credits and the promise of them. I want you to go to Florrum, bring a large force right down on top of Hondo's head. Show him that we have other ways of motivating him to join us. And lastly if that doesn't work, tell him that an old accomplice of him Aurra Sing is already serving in our ranks. Fear for his life, or the love of a woman. Both are powerful motivators and no doubt this should be an easy mission to accomplish. Be on the watch for any Rebel elements in the area that would try to disrupt our mission.

Got it, I will add you guys to the list. Which maps do you have to play on? (I need as complete a list as I can get so I can tell you where your first battle will take place. Thanks!) SpryGuy can you confirm that you are allocating some troops for DarthMaim? As soon as I get your map list I will add the map and send out a Separatist allocations

By the way, I should clarify that while Lafcadio and I will happen to be using Vassal (it would be a nightmare trying to keep track of proxies with the small collection available to us), we will be playing in person, so we'll use the 60-minute time limit.
