I'm a maybe. Long, daytime tournaments don't usually fit my schedule, but Thanksgiving weekend makes it more likely to work. I'm probably still less than 50/50, though. Incidentally, if you push the start time back 2 or 3 hours you might be able to pick up a NZ player or two. But probably not necessary to consider that unless one of them actually requests.
I contacted Darth O (the most prolific NZ player this year) about this, and Saturday afternoons/evenings (for us...Sunday mornings in NZ) don't work for him at all anymore. I really wanted to involve him again, but it's just not possible at this point.

I'll try to keep in mind your preference for evening events.

Sadly, Mando informed me that he cannot participate this time....

We currently have 3 players signed up (urbanshmi, DarthBaneCapital, and myself). If anyone else wants to join then that would be great! If not, then we'll do a round-robin, perhaps each playing both of our squads against both opponents, or something like that.

We'll talk further about this as the time draws closer. In the meantime, I want to encourage any and all people to sign up!

Lesson learned: create a poll asking about availability the next time I want to host a SWM tournament. ThumpUp

I have a meeting until 12:30 central (1:30 Eastern), so I will not be able to play.

I do love the format though. Have fun everyone

I'll see what my work schedule is. Lately I've been working the evenings on event days.

No, after briefly considering moving the date, I decided to keep it on November 28. That's this Saturday, at noon (eastern time).

I'll be around after 1pm Central (2pm Eastern). Since it looks like a small event, if anyone wants to get a game in afterward I'd be up for it.

I’ll definitely be there at 12 ET for the tournament; I meant to reply to Timmer about maybe being able to play after. Looking forward to it!

Or if the tournament has an odd number, during someone’s bye that player and I could play a match for fun.

Since we currently have just a few players registered to play, I wonder if you people would be okay with pushing the start-time of our event back by 2 hours so that Tim can join us?

Urbanshmi?
DBC?

I'd be happy to start at 2:00 (eastern time) to accommodate Tim joining us, if you guys would be up for that. From what he's written here it seems like he would likely be able to join us if we did. And other than Spry (who is a maybe) [edit: and perhaps Adambond too] it doesn't seem like anyone else has expressed an indication that they might be able to play. Really, the timeframe doesn't matter to me at all; I'd just like to include as many people as possible, given the parameters that we have to work with this weekend.

Please indicate Yay or Nay. Thanks!

I think saturday is pretty flexible to me. Whatever we need to do so others have the opportunity to play too.

Okay, then it's official: we are moving the start-time back to 2:00 pm (eastern time) so that Tim can join us.

Thanks everyone!
