Just to be clear this is the site where TOpics are censored and deleted and moved without explanation. Please enlighten me more of this sites wonderful tolerance.

This is the only site where I have moderators sending me ugly pm's calling me names. Granted he has resigned now but still you get the picture and when he sent the pm he was a moderator.

If you're civil, disagree all you want. A good (CIVIL) disagreement is fun, as long as it doesn't broach flaming/troling/etc levels I say go for it ^_^

When the 'Gamers site crashed last year I was one of the unfortunates whose posts and identity were lost in the shuffle. I had to completely re-register and, yes, I had to go through the same process you are complaining about. But guess what? The site is stable now and we've had no more such crashes. I really don't see what the fuss is all about. The procedure is there purely for a safeguard, not some big brother monitoring system.

Dean Miller is not a perfect person. Dean Miller makes mistakes. But Dean Miller has made sacrifices in time, energy, and money that none of us can come close to when it comes to Star Wars Miniatures. I don't agree with everything he says (I sent a PM giving my opinion on such an issue this week) but the guy has given so much for the game that I am going to give him the benefit of the doubt when it comes to his views on moving the game forward. Regarding his web site, the proof is in the pudding. The site works better now with the changes in place.

I post on 5 different SWM forums, if you count the WOTC site. I find value on every one of them and there are well intentioned people on each site. Bloomilk in particular offers the greatest cross section of SWM players both in age and ability. It therefore has the potential to make a great and positive impact on our community. It disappoints me to see our community bogged down in disputes when we all could be doing something to move the game forward. You don't have to like or agree with someone else's attempts. ('You' being a general term at EVERYONE in the community) If you have better ideas, implement them. Flesh them out, make them a reality. I can respect anyone who is doing something positive for the community and putting more people in seats playing the game. Just ask yourself honestly if what you are doing... what you are posting...moves the community forward. If you can honestly answer yes, then I believe the bulk of the community will be behind you.

Cleaned. Dnemiller's post does contain the underlying concern he has, so it should be seen and discussed, calmly and respectfully, despite how the initial post was written. I would move the post to a different thread if I could.

But be warned, everyone is on thin ice, and I would rather not like to take more drastic measures.

I realize a lot of people here have short memories or maybe just were not around on Wizards when you pulled your antics.....

But you bullied and harassed (her words not mine) the VCL there Lady Hothie and then continued once you became VCL. she resigned being the VCL because of your treatment of her. So yes when you came to Gamers you were put on notice.

When Mandalore Da Beast came to Gamers (yes he was welcomed to join) he was put on notice. The difference being he joined just so he could disrupt and violate the rules there and yes he was the first and onyl person banned from the site. Which took as I recall him trying for two days to get banned. Of course his posts did not even get deleted they just got modded.

So really TS try to make a point but when you tell folks here that you were put on notice be sure and include your history of harassment to a person who was a great VCL and did not appreciate you having her wedding photos moved to a forum in which anyone could see them.

Edit: Anytime TS you and I are on opposite sides.... Well I know I am on the correct side of the issue.

Well, my last half dozen or so posts on this matter got blown away, so I'll just say that so far we are continuing in good stead the SWCCG tradition of having bitter arguments about pretty much everything. The big difference being that most of the SWCCG arguments are actually, you know, about the game.

I can't wait until the first virtual set comes out and we really have something to get angry with each other about.

No, I can't understand it because I don't understand how there is any legal "risk" involved. The only way that I can see the V-Sets having any "civil liability" is if 1) you had to get permission from Lucas Films LTD. to produce the V-Sets, which I find unlikely because you're not trying to produce or sell the V-Sets (it's just intellectual property), or 2) you are planning on producing and selling the V-Sets, so you put your own copyright on them that none of us know about.

Quite frankly, Mr. Miller, I think you are overreacting. Yes, I agree with you that most of the "higher-up" people on this site are difficult to contact and even harder to get a response from, so I understand your concern there, but that's the case with just about anything else in the real-world; you can't hardly expect to have a CEO or the President on speed-dial, and it's unrealistic to expect immediate responses from the webmaster of a website. It's not unreliability, it's just the way it works; shinja and the other admins have lives outside of this website and can't be expected to keep tabs on everything on their site 24/7. Yes, it's their responsibility, but they have other things to do that take priority.

Furthermore, except for the initial threads which you and DarthJak (who, by the way, gave up his powers as moderator today) were feuding on, I have seen few highly-critical comments aimed at you in the threads that are a byproduct of your fallout with BlooMilk; you are not being "crucified" like you imagine you are. If you can't take simple criticisms or deal with your problems in a civil way without exploding at other people with vulgar comments and feeling paranoid about everyone, maybe it is best that you left. Don't get me wrong, I have told DarthJak essentially the same thing as I am telling you here (except in multiple posts and less complex language that he can better understand) and have been just as critical, if not more so, at him than you. I apologize for the unavoidable inconveniences you've had with this website, and I wish you the best in the future.

As I've said before, I wish people would just leave this topic alone and let bygones be bygones; griping about things and belittling other people isn't going to solve anything.
