Full integration of the site and the forums...

+ to that.

On the topic of external links:

How about a page that the mods could maintain for links to other sites, and a dropbox to upload files?
(so some of the important SWM resources can be hosted here in case something happens to the other sites)

Having trade ratings below user name in the trades list - and that trade ref update thing you had mentioned a while back would be nice too. Smile

Fix the squad builder "creator's comment" feature.

Oh, and a way to move a copy of entire threads.

And a report button, everywhere.

And... ok that's enough for now. Wink

I do love the site, and if it stayed just the way it is now, I would be fine with that.
Lots of good suggestions here though.

Bloomilk is one of my favourite sites of all time! I'm just going to second some great ideas I've seen here:

1. Maps
2. Thumbs up button for comments on forums/squads/characters
3. Integration of forums and the rest of the site
4. Being able to add multiples of a mini at the same time in the squad-builder
5. Having v-set minis available for collection-restricted squads if you own the RM
6. Recent posts for characters would be cool

That's in no particular order by the way :)

I'll second a few additions other people have mentioned.

Add ability to add multiples of a character at the same time in the squad builder.
Add maps and promo figures.
Add set symbols.
Add trade rating somewhere under user names.
Add ability to add Vset cards to your inventory when doing a "restrict by collection" in the squad builder, even if it is just to add the set/s as a whole.

Definitely integration of the forum with the main site. It would make sending PMs much more easier.

In the "search" category for characters it would be nice to have a feature to type in an ability. I've recently had a problem with Firefox where I click on one ability but it also chooses the first ability as well which is very annoying.

For searching it would also be nice to be able to search for multiple abilities as an "and/or" fashion instead of having to make multiple searches.

It would also be nice when we're looking at characters that when we click on an ability if it takes us to the Glossary Text of that specific ability, not just a random ability in the Glossary Text that forces us to go and search for the ability.

I would like to be able to BM someone direcctly from their profile. I would also like to be able to find threads started by a certain person. Other than that, I love the site and feel if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

The only thing I would say is

The ability to print off Custom Stats in a basic Card format size for easy cut and play ThumbsUp
Because you wouldnt need pictures (except maybe the Bloomilk Logo) the text could be bigger.

Great site Shinja!

ill start by saying this. I love this site. I feel at home here and have for quite a while, so there isnt much i would want to change. but like any home there is some redecorating that could be done.

i agree with alot of that has been already said: Add ability to add multiples of a character at the same time in the squad builder and Add maps

There are a few minor things i would like to add though. In regards to customs i would love to see a way to put your own customs into the squad builder. Right now you have to proxy, which works, but its better to be able to have them right in the squad.
I would also love to see the squad builder updated with the ability to pick Specific formats like dynamic duo and tile wars. In addition to that i would like to see An option with the search function for personal squads to search by the different types. IE: competitive, casual, fun, ETC

I really love this site and enjoy all the work you have done and still do to keep the site running.

I would love to be able to filter by squad type on the 'My Squads' page. That way I could quickly look at just casual or competitive squads, for example.

+1 to all of these.

And a fix to the creator's comments in the squadbuilder would be nice.

I know that every one says there should be a thumbs up button for what im about to do...but ooh well. I think this is EXACTLY what we need, it would be my number one want, much easier then opening a new window to find them on the members tab.

I think this is what Sithborg et al mean when they talk about forum and main site integration. It would be nice to click on a forum post (especially on a trade thread) to be able to see their wants and haves and trades and also to PM them.

Additionally, as a swarm lover (Ewoks and Brutes etc., I am not a bee keeper!) being able to add multiples on the squad builder would be awesome.

And while we are at it, I think a maps feature would be cool. It would be great to allow comments so I could pick up on strategies for specific maps etc.

But apart from these and even including these I am very happy with this site. I don't really go on other forums except Gamers and the German SWM site (mainly only for trades though) and this will not change anytime soon, even if you ignore all suggestions, the site is already awesome so no worries!

Not really. Most people will know what I'm talking about. Though it could quite likely be a positive side benefit of the integration.

Like the site, Casual user. Mostly becasue it the coloring is so bright it makes my eyes weird out sometimes. I agree woith alot of the squadbuilder comments and serach/selection functions.

IF there was one wish list, would be to have a vassal style hosted/cloud solution where everything was kept on server for games instead of dowloading it. Like I said that is wish list stuff.

I've only been using this site and simultaneously back with SWM for just a few months but *MAN* is this site great! Thank you for everything you're doing, Shinja. You're awesome.

If I was only able to name one things to add, it would be a browseable repository for maps. It would be really helpful to have recognizable thumbnails of all the maps with information that includes the official name, common nicknames for the map, where one can find it (e.g. Rebel Storm starter, Battle of Endor pack, Armored Cartographer Map Pack #3, etc.), whether the map is on the restricted/open/etc. list, and allow user comments.

Regardless of all that, your site is awesome so thank you!

Would second a lot of the comments here.
Just wanted to take a second out and say Thank you for the time and effort you put into maintaining this site.
It is very user friendly (and while I use SWM gamers site often, this has a much better web design).
One addition could be a links button next to or part of the community tab.

Keep up the good work and Thank you again.

The page style, it's far too bright and gives me a headache. I have to have this page minimized most of the time. Also, I miss having an avatar and signature.

I prefer the lighter colors. Other websites are way too dark. Also, I think avatars and signatures clutter up pages and would make our forums too cookie-cutter. trying to look like all other forums.

Agree 100%. If it's not too hard to do, an opptional darker background for those who like it that way.
This is the site that I can read best.
