Male, 36, been playing since RotS (thanks qvos for introducing me to the game). Not sure how many minis I have in number, if I had to guess, around 4,000. I do have a 100% complete collection.

I'm also married, and my wife doesn't know how much I've spent on SWM, so let's keep that on the DL.

Male, 23. My SWM group is pretty much exclusively male (I know a few girls who play, but either not in our group or not often), and ranges from about 13 up to the 30s, with most of us in the mid-20s range. One guy who used to play with us (I still play RPGs with him, but he doesn't play SWM much anymore) is in his 50s.

My collection is probably around 1,000 minis, maybe as high as 1,500. I first started playing right as CS came out, played through that and RotS, but moved away to college right after Universe came out. I didn't know anyone in my new area that played so I basically quit the game until between KotOR and CW, when I found a gaming group near my school.

27, male, 2000+ minis. I am not quite 90% complete - need another 0.27% for that!

And my wife will never find out in this life what I have spent on minis! I even snuck in and bought my last cases of DT and MotF before our wedding so she won't know how much cases are lol. I can now only spend a maximum of £20 on minis a month, but then I can't buy anything else lol.

I shall put away a fund for V-Set 3 cards!

Enough guys have commented on it that perhaps another question should be "If you are married, does your wife know how much you spend on minis?"

I am apparently the are guy whose wife knows pretty much exactly how much I spend on minis! And she doesn't care! I don't drink or smoke, I only buy one or two video games a year, and as time has marched on, the amount I spend on books and comics books has gone down considerably, so if I wanted to pop a few hundred bucks on minis a few times a year, it wasn't an issue.

Been playing since the very release of Rebel Storm. I happened to be home the weekend it came out and Malcom, my comic store guy, insisted I try this game out. Thanks guy, for wasting all my college Beer money BigGrin

What truly sucked me in were the amazing Stormtrooper sculpts, and I was lucky enough in my original two boosters to pull Fett and the Emperor. Then CS came out... what happened to the sculpts... lol

oh and i have 1543 minis according to mini manager. I would have more but had sold off a good 500 or so pieces of my collection at one point, as well as butchered a ton of figures for customs. I made a lot of Minis customs, and I also used to cut them off their bases, and rebase Heroclix figures to look better. All those CS battle droids and ROTS Wookiees who bravely gave their lives. Then I have a ton on my trades list.

Male, 50... around 3600 pieces, just recently completed the collection...started collecting during RotS. I had been playing Wiz Kids Sportsclix but when Topps bought them out and changed the game mid stream, making the first 2 sets totally incapatable with the subsequent one, I started looking for a new miniatures game. I found SWM while visiting my dad in the hospital in Florida. (So if there are any Florida players who have played at a store in Melbourne near Trailer Haven, thats where I started.)

For the first few years I played mass battles with my son, and my collection reflected this for years... never trading any uncommons or commons, getting as many soldiers and troopers as I could. Once the WotC pulled up stakes and I found I was within 30 of completing my collection, I changed my focus to completion. I still am reluctant to trade uncommons and commons, though.

Some oddities of my collection: 4 Probe Droids, 4 Sandtroopers on Dewbacks, 31 Ugnaught Demos, 20 mice. At one point I had 5 RotS Yodas and just 1 Ewok. I never had to buy or trade for a single Darth Maul figure, but spent 70 on RS Boba only to get a second 4 months later. My first RS Booster had Emporer Palpatine; the last piece I needed for my collection was RS Scout Trooper on Speeder Bike.

The wife isn't concerned about my collection since I never use family finances to purchase them and my storage and play area is in our basement, the one place in our house she is loath to go.

Yeah, at college, Mass battles are a majority of what we did. So you did it right Jim haha.

Here is a picture of the Republic Army that used to get fielded. minus Palps, and Anakin anyway. We used to connect 3 maps and some tiles on pool tables in our Dorms. I sold off all of the stuff in this picture except for one ACTC which i customized and a single Clone Commander. Sad days back then. 115 blue clones in there btw, I didn't count the rest.

Male, 18, played since Universe. (saw RotS boosters at the store but didn't know what they were)

I have 875/915 minis and 2325 miniatures in all. Started playing in Japan where there were no other SWM players; now I play in the U.S. where there are no other SWM players. :P
