500th post!!! Better say something important then :P
Is it worth getting a few more GaW boosters at half price when the only fig you need from it is Mar Tuuk and you may only buy 3 at a time? Yes, that means no individual boosters; just lots of 3.

If you only need Mar Tuuk i would not buy booters to get him. He is a very rare and you need way more than a few booters to make sure to get him.
He is listed at around 10$ at the moment. So buying a single Mar Tuuk makes more sense than spending more on booters.
But if you want to have fun opening booters and want some trade fodder you can buy booters as well. But from a financial standpoint it makes no sense.

Thats our plan for this weekend. Lotf, TFU, and GAW or IE, depends on what they have and do probably a sealed due to small amount of attendees in my friends basement.

I picked up a few more GaW boosters this weekend. I decided that's a decent set for me to build my fledgling Republic/Separatist armies from. I got Captain Argyus and 2 OWKJG's as the rares. Also got a selection of troopers, commandos, rodian trader & some others.
With the booster I picked up the week before I had a commando and from there I researched and got Cpt. Argyus off of an auction. So 2 doubles (Argyus &OWKJG) but now I have some commandos to build a squad with. Pretty happy so far.

I was lucky enough to finally find RotS and A&E at $6.99 in Columbus, OH this weekend. I grabbed one A&E hoping it was heavy enough to yield the only VR I needed, Jabba, CL from it and was spot on.
From A&E I got Jabba and Holo OBi-Wan and from RotS I got Yoda and Antilles.
Interestingly, these boosters are now being located at the beginning of rows on the sides of the end caps.

Actually, it's not new. Excell puts RotS, A&E, and KOTOR on fastracks while the other sets are worked inline with the rest of the card game stuff. The store I work at would have had an entire rack of KOTOR except to the dismay of everyone, the corporate higherups nixed because it's not called out for in the planogram and thus would have been an unauthorized display .

End caps are special displays that are put at the end of an aisle that "caps" the two sets of shelves that stand back-to-back. End caps could be at the end of anyaisle but are more likely to be near similar items. Fasttrack means that the items are put to the front of display sections regardless of tags. Usually it is in front of other items that are similar as well. Our Target here in Knoxville has packs up front by the cards and in the toy section as well near the board games. Maybe you could check there also for more.

usauly when you walk in target you can see to 1 side trading cards etc, they stock some there but also in the toy isle, not the long part of the isle but the small ends not facing into the isle. the targets near me have been jam packed for weeks with TFU,LotF,JA,IE and Gaw latley hardly any or nothing, i think every one is catching on to the sales. today i only saw 2 Gaw boosters and a beat up TFU, i chose the TFU over 2 boosters and puuled Revan

Picked up my first discount booster in a while and chose GaW. Got Commander Ahsoka, a B3, and another Battle Droid. Not a bad booster since I needed Ahsoka, and always love having more B3s and BDs. I actually tried to cherry-pick the B3 in this booster and seem to have been successful. =)

No, an endcap is the end of an aisle. A fastrack is a plastic or metal display that's a attached to the side an endcap. The island racks have several different names depending on the style of the display, but a good all-encompasing term would be a promo tower/fixture. For a photo example: The HD-DVD players are on an endcap. The Duracell Display on the side of the endcap is a fastrack. And those yellow thingies hanging on the center of the display are on a clipstrip.

But now my question is - why is WalMart still selling HD-DVD players at $200?

@EmporerDragon - Is there any way I could facilitate my Target in providing other boosters than what they have, short of buying up all their stock and hoping they restock? I want to see stuff like LotF, KotOR, and CW at my Target but have never seen any of it at this Target.

If you don't have any inside contacts in the store who can talk to the card game rep for you, the best way would be to do an interstore transfer, where a Target that carries the product can ship it to your Target. You would need to get the UPC (Number under the barcode) or SKU (Number for store's inventory database) number for each set you want in though, which I cannot give as the stores in my area do not stock those sets (And I tend to throw away my reciepts and boxes).

Me and my buddy are in Arlington TX and after Monday playing with the MinisMayham guys we decided to play sealed in our hotel room. He buys a Imp Ent and gets General Nadine and his GAW booster gave him Hondo. With these he got a elite commando and a pirate plus a commando droid and captain. All 3 great together and the TBSV didn't hurt his feeling either. I get 2 Jedi Acad and pull HK-50, Exc Jedi App, Dis of Ragnos......oh did I forget GM Yoda and the Dark Woman!!! We played on Chris West's 1st make the heavy cruiser and had a blast. I won game 1 and dropped Yoda for others since it was wrong and lost game 2 thanks to rolling two 1's in row that would have killed Hondo. Not leaving TX till Friday so we may have to find another Target. On a side note we went to Lone Star comics to get boosters first but didn't see the point in paying MSRP for the boosters even though they had two hot chicks working the comic store register (great idea nerds love boobs ). Can someone tell them to match Targets prices?
