Can you target an ally with Chain Lightning? That would give it a nasty range of 9.

But any Maul getting anything will be great too...
EDIT: Oh and is Dooku's name just straight up "Dooku?" My idea, give Soresu to Grievous HoH and make him that much more awesome. Also cool thematically. Dooku 100 Grievous 42 Spotter 19 San Hill 10 Lobot 27 198 And against an all/mostly melee team (Vong/sith) give the General makashi for double the chance to avoid damage. Sweet new piece and finally the Dooku we have been waiting for (though Sep leader will always have a special place in my reserve teams heart haha)

Personally, I like giving Savage Djem So vs big Melee or Soresu vs shooters.

I really like how these 2 characters match up against each other.
The overall flavor is excellent. Instant scenario, just add grunts.

That's pretty sweet! Really glad he got Leaping Assault - very fitting. Speaking of which am I correct that Momentum would not trigger based upon the movement created by a Leaping Assault? Oh and what is the die roll for reserves?

I was wondering the same thing for Momentum/Leaping Assault It is Immediate so there should be 4 5,10,15,20 are Droids and Seps 2,7,12,17 are Imperial Troopers so 1, 6, 11, 16; 3, 8, 13, 18; 4, 9, 14, 19? Or a re-used set. That is going to be fun with Qui-Gon Jinn, Force Spirit.

Leaping Assault is movement. Says so right on the card. 3 times in fact. Reserves numbers are 5, 10, 15, 20.

Yes, Momentum works with LA, and so he can do up to 180dmg on his turn (with ASM active). However, in a head-to-head battle, Dooku will win almost every single time, since he has Makashi Mastery (Parry that ignores Ataru) and Twin Riposte, while Yoda only has 2 chances to LS Defense.
Yoda is more of a squad-based piece, while Dooku can be more effective as a solo piece, if necessary.

Here's a 500pt Epic squad (5 CEs) with Yoda:
--Cin Drallig, Hero of Geonosis-- 100 Yoda, Hero of Geonosis 66 Obi-Wan Kenobi, Jedi General 65 Mace Windu, Legacy of the Light Side 48 Cin Drallig, Jedi Battlemaster 47 Shaak Ti, Jedi Master 39 Quinlan Vos, Double Agent 33 Captain Rex 25 Republic Commando Fi 23 Captain Panaka 23 Foul Moudama 9 R2-D2, Astromech Droid 8 Mas Amedda 5 Rodian Diplomat 9 Rodian Brute x3
(500pts. 16 activations)
Lots of mobile mutliple attacks (Yoda does 240dmg with ASM active!), Mace attacks 4x, Quin/Shaak/Rex/Fi have triple GMA, and in addition to shooting 6x, Rex is there (GMA CE) for when Yoda rolls Clone Reserves. Either Shaak Ti or Quinlan will benefit from Cin's LS Trainer, depending on matchups. You could replace Shaak with Anakin, but only Quin and Mace would be benefitting from him, so I'm not entirely sure it's worth it. Also Panaka is there to save your pieces after they commit to make a big attack.

If the result is a miss, that character is defeated. Nasty! Move adjacent and take 2 attacks, hit him and take 2 more (with +10 for the first) plus he has a pretty darn good chance of blocking with Makashi Mastery (re-rolls) Lightsaber Trainer is gonna be awesome! I don't like Chain lightning on him maybe on someone different... I was waiting for a great duelist Dooku with a CE! The one that he currently has is one I wouldn't have picked personally, but it is still strong! (I noticed that it won't work for the Droids ) Still very nice, I'm super excited to see an updated Dooku

With the potential to move and do upto 6 attacks with 30 damage (total 180!) every turn this guy IS the Yoda we have been waiting for! Before if you used yoda it was kinda like: *yawn* I could care less, but this guy totally fulfills the role Yoda SHOULD have: *Jaw drops* crap he's got Yoda! Even with Renewal 3 this guy is gonna be force starved (which is a great representation! IMO) I don't personally care for Lightsaber Riposte on him, and his CE works but isn't quite what I would have expected. Immediate Order 66 Reserves 20 is PERFECT for Yoda considering he brought the first clone army into combat. Though I would personally vote for a different roll list then 5, 10, 15, 20 (I like 3, 8, 13, 18 or 4, 9, 14, 19 just to be different.) though maybe we don't want to give the Republic reserves squads another option. However his HIGH cost will limit the reserve squads options...

I reckon the new Gen Obi-Wan on Boga and Yoda could be fun together - it's crazy expensive, but it could work. They both have Clone CEs, they're both tough, one's a big hitter and one's a galloper. Don't know how competitive it would be, but it could be fun.
