Rival (against Vader)
Pheramones
Teras Kasi Style

Crime Lord ( Living allies get +2 attack and +2 defense if your squad contains only Fringe characters)

CE:
Black Sun allies within 6 gain Extra Attack (finally the TBSV can use his GMA like he was supposed too! Discounting the Exile and such)

Black Sun followers gain Accurate Shot

Can Be Interesting Combining him with Some Vigo's and Talon. alot of pieces can gain black sun due to the Nautolan BSV. Not TO mention you can get them Super stealth with the DUG

It could get nutty if you played 500 pts with no CE limits. But I think he is costed high enough to not be broken. I'm not even quite convinced he's top tier. 1.5 tier and a lot of fun for sure.

I like the new Xizor a lot, but not sure he is tier 1 tho. It gets kinda expensive to put Xizo, a NBSV and Talon in a squad. That is 110pts right there.

Wonder what boba has

Ask and you shall receive. :)

30/45 Boba Fett, Assassin for Hire 50pts
(R) Fringe

HP: 110
Def: 20
Att: +12
Dmg: 20

Special Abilities
Unique. Triple Attack; Flight
Greater Mobile Attack

Accurate Shot [Can attack an enemy with cover even if it's not the nearest enemy]

Bait and Switch [Once per round, when this character is targeted by a nonadjacent enemy, he may switch positions with a Medium Fringe ally within 6 squares with a save of 11. That ally becomes the target instead, and the enemy cannot be prevented from attacking it this turn.]

Bounty Hunter +4 [+4 Attack against Unique enemies]

Evade [When hit by an attack from a nonadjacent enemy, this character takes no damage with a save of 11]

Quick Draw [This character can make an attack of opportunity against enemies with special abilities or Force powers that ignore characters while moving]

Single-Shot Blaster [This character cannot gain Twin Attack]

Wrist Cable [At the end of this character’s turn, one target enemy within 6 squares cannot move until the end of this round; save 11]

With this piece we were trying to make the definitive Boba...because after all, he's Boba @#$% Fett! We wanted to show how he was always staying one step ahead of his enemies (and also his "friends"). Wrist Cable can be a pain against melee figs, while Bait-and-Switch can be a pain against shooters. However, that is very much in-character for Boba, who was very resourceful and survivable. He doesn't have a lot of damage output for his cost, but he is a follower, so he can benefit from a number of different CEs (outside of brokenness with General Whorm).

And FYI, if you use Bait-and-Switch to swap Boba with a Caamasi Noble or a Klat Assassin in cover, your opponent will still get to shoot the Caamasi or the Klat. We wanted to avoid a situation where you have just Boba and a Caamasi left, and your opponent cannot ever attack because Boba keeps making his saves.

I always kinda though Twin attack should be given or allowed to be given to characters that you would see actually weilding 2 blasters. In the movies you never saw Boba carry anything other than a single Blaster Rifle. I'm glad he has single shot blaster, otherwise he'd be broken with Whorm.

I'm really glad they made this ability work this way, cause in playtesting this ability was very annoying to deal with. Great job Trevor in designing this piece!

Oh another cool Pilot for the Rebels and bonus a bodyguard for Luke. He isn't super beefy, but he can take a few hits for Hero of Endor or Rebel Commando.

For spoilers, I'd be interested in Cade, Emperor Reborn, and if there is a Luke (or Luuke or Luuuke) in the set

FINALLY Commando Droids with Stealth! they were some of the actually semi-comptent droids on the show, I'm glad this helps them out a bunch and might make them a fun little droid subfaction. And I'm very glad it stipulates NAMED Commando Droid or else there might be some BX weirdness.

so far so good, but I will pick nits

If chewwie can have an ability to move enemies without use an FP, could Exar Kun have been given some cool pushing slash ability...

I ask because I got ripped pretty bad in the custom mini contest a while ago for giving an ability that can move enemies without costing a FP or two.

Maybe you could still use him in a BX Sniper Swarm - you still get Fire Control, a minor movement breaker (I think? Depends on the exact wording), a decent shooter, and a cannon CE - it might be a good use of 22 points?

I guess I need to go back and adjust the Mini of the Day entry for the Commando Droid - they're not 1/10 bad anymore with Stealth and better stats.

Emperor Palpatine, Reborn (for all you fan boysBigGrin)
Cost 83 faction: Empire
HP 180
Def 22
Att +15
Dam 20
Unique, Melee Attack, Triple Attack
Rapport (Characters named Imperial Sentinel cost 10 less)
Unstable Clone (When this character activates he takes 10 damage; save 11)
Absolute Devotion (Whenever this character would take damage he may attempt a save of 6. On a success, a living ally within 6 may take the damage instead)

Force 2, Force Renewal 3, Master of the Force 3
Force Lightning 4, Lightsaber Defense
Dark Assault 3 (force 3: If this character doesn't move this turn, he gets +4 Attack and +20 Damage on all his attacks this turn)
Force Storm 5 (force 5 replaces Turn: 50 damage to all characters within 4 squares)

CE: Imperial allies whose name contains Sentinel or Guard get +4 attack and gain Double Attack

Really cool, him and Thrawn makes a new Bomb swap like the vanilla Kota or Lord Kaan. I really like his really good bodyguard SA too. Lightsaber Defense with MotF 3 is unique too.
