One of my friends whom I play with thinks that the two most broken pieces in the game are General Dodonna (which is fair enough) and..... Master Vandar. #BanVanDar

So would that mean you can use 2 Different abilities or one ability twice. Seems like "bending" to me I'm not sure if you're serious or not, but, either way, those are both WotC issues. They have nothing to do with the Vsets. There were no force ghost transfer issues until the vsets though That is simply because WOTC never did the Sith Force Ghosts, and in the V-sets they used the same wording Because of betrayal this could have happened in WOTC days

I think I am the person who mentioned that. If I am not, please forgive my confusion and disregard the following paragraph, as it will have no relevance to the conversation First off, here's what I said: CorellianComedian wrote:Mando Sergeant can't help Bane. That's not hiding behind anything.
And were there two Mando Sergeants? The Sergeant can only hand out one ability at a time. Even one Sergeant basically makes Bane 96 points, which is only 18 points less than Lord Krayt. Two Sergeants (to give him both Evade AND Parry) is 138 points to have one super-powered beat. As can be seen, I was referring to the fact that the Mando Sergeants can't help Bane (At least in 200 point games), and that is not hiding behind the rules to dodge admitting an NPE. Rather, I was saying that if Bane is an NPE because he can get Evade and Parry, then he is not an NPE because he can't. Now, the relevant part : I didn't/don't want to come across as shutting you down. You had a legitimate concern, and was simply voicing it to the community. Turns out part of the NPE was an accident. And we need, to a certain extent, a healthy dose of concern for theoretical NPEs. But two other sets have come out since Bane, and he hasn't taken over the world. Maybe he HAS taken over the world in your area, but obviously other people don't see him on the table a whole lot. If Bane hasn't established wide-spread dominance over SWM, then it must mean that, however overpowered he may appear, he isn't as bad as he seems. He may become more prominent as the game shifts towards melee. Also, people have widely varying OPINIONS on things. I personally hate the Vong with a passion, simply because I feel like Force Immunity overreaches it's logical sphere of influence. But if I complain, most people disagree. Are they ganging up on me and tearing me down? Of course not! It's just that many people (most of SWM) think that Force Immunity is fine, and very few people (just me) think that it's too much. And yes, some people could be a little more civil in their disagreeing. But the point is, when someone brings up what they consider to be an NPE, and others disagree with it, they are not just mocking you for trying to help the game. They’re not shutting you down. You expressed your concern that Bane is too powerful; others responded saying that they don't see a problem. Again, it is definitely important that concerns be brought up, but where would the game be if it had to warp to accommodate everyone's opinions? If I had my way, Vong wouldn't even be in the game. Not saying that's best for the game (it would be very bad, in fact), that's just my personal opinions and preferences. Bane's had about a year (I believe?) to establish himself, and this is the first time I've seen any concern over him. All that to say, thank you Reignir for bringing this up . We can't have constructive conversation about things like this if nobody says anything. But let's make every effort to keep it constructive.

Ok good to know buts let's face it is wasn't an issue until the vsets put multiple force, spirits in that faction

No. If a person with a spirit attached betrays, the spirit does not betray as well. However, they will still provide the bonuses while within range. What the scenario is describing is someone with Transfer Essence betraying to a squad that has a spirit in it.
