Well, since I was downtown today I decided to stop by the borders for a moment and see if they had any swag. They only had the basic SW Starter with Kenobi and Vader - probably at full price. Ah well, I knew it was a long shot.

Not sure if anyone has seen this, or if it applies anywhere else, but my wife and I just saw CW boosters at Target in their Christmas stuff for $4.99 each. RotS are $6.99, so we bought 4 of each. We're going to have a few friends over and do a booster draft. Everyone gets 1 CW and 1 RotS, normal draft rules. 8 boosters for $50, not too bad. :)

Yep, I've seen CW around Christmas stuff at various Target stores. Oddly enough, at my Target, they had them in the Christmas section, sold out, and then restocked with 24 boosters in the card section up front. That was about 2 weeks ago. I checked back today and they were totally sold out except for 1 booster. Sad. =(

Ended up buying 3 packs of Imperial Entanglements today on a whim, grabbed the 3 heavy ones and got 3 bacta tanks, 3PO Ewok Deity, a Mouse Droid, my 2nd Luke Rebel Commando (yay trade fodder!) and a Palpatine on Throne  Glad to break my streak of pulling nothing but Arica and Dash Rendar, seriously I've pulled 3 of each of those out of 6 packs.

Went to my local Target and picked a 'heavy' TFU booster and got Felucian Warrior/Rancor. 3 days later went again and picked up another Rancor. 2 for 2 not bad.Feeling lucky. went back that day and picked another TFU and got Vaders App Unleashed. Oh what a day.

I encountered a pleasant surprise at work today. We had received a large shipment from excell, and according to the manifest, there were 5 IE boosters in the shipment. Nothing major, as I had the complete set, but I dug for them to see if I could cherry pick a Palps for trade fodder. However, when I saw the bottom of one of the boosters I noticed it was the wrong color, so I pulled it out. It was a Dark Times booster but had a sticker on the bottom that made it ring up under the IE SKU. The other 4 were the same way, so we got 5 DT instead of 5 IE.
Naturally, I bought them all. Unfortunately, the pulls were duds. I got 2 Dengars, Veers, IG-88, and Merumeru.

Picked up what will probably be my last CW booster this past weekend. Te 1 booster that was left over was too tempting to pass up, so I bought it hoping I pulled a Captain Rex to give to my friend Ted for Christmas, since it was the only piece he needed to complete the set. Lo and behold, in that last CW booster I've seen in stores, I pulled Captain Rex, and gave it to him for Christmas!

Got 16 boxes the past week from various sets. Pulled a R2 Astromech, two Thrawns, (anyone interested in one?) a Han Gal Hero, Lumynara - Dark Lady, a mouse droid, a Dodonna, Grevious scourge, and many that are "needed" for the v-sets. Also picked up the vader-obi starter set which I didn't have.

Heh, funny you should mention Thrawn - I got a case of Universe for Xmas and one of the ones I got - one of the few Universe figures I already had - was a Admral Thrawn. Well, I guess I was lucky that I didn't get a Doctor E or anything lame like that for a VR.
Hopefully my Champions of the Force case that I'm getting for my Birthday pays out better. . . .

I went to Best Buy today and was quite surprised when I saw they had RotS boosters. I decided to pick up a couple and got Agen Kolar and a Medical Droid. Meh, not great pulls, but I didn't already have them so I wasn't too bummed. It was the Legacy booster I got that made me happy. Pulled Darth Krayt, one of 3 pieces I still needed from LotF, so now I'm down to two!

Where in Best Buy do they have the boosters located?
Also I saw Dark Times boosters at Target, only 3 though. they still had a sticker on them for 14.99 price point then a smaller once correcting it to be 7.49 i think. It was about that price or so anyway.
I ended up with 3 JA boosters though.
2 Leia Skywalkers.. =\
Vodo-Siosk baas which was a nice one to see.

They're up by the registers in a section where they have candy and other stuff they want you to see and buy before you leave the store, lol.
