LOL. I was going through all the Vaders and my head was spinning so I started writing them down. Then I figured I'd share.

My votes

Darth Vader, The Darkside Unleashed (Deathwielded) - A powerful beat, especially when paired with a battery. Balanced by cost though. 8
Darth Vader, Lord of Vjun (Robobob) - Very cool piece, I like the interaction of Twin/Riposte/Sweep. Juyo seems to be a bit out of place but it works mechanically.. Well made CE. 9
Darth Vader, Purge of the Jedi (DB35) - A very interesting piece and I like the concept behind it (a "one shot" Vader). However, it is fairly overcosted for what it can do. 7
Darth Vader, Heartless Killer (Flying Arrow) - Love this piece. So flavorful and well balanced. 9
Darth Vader, Brutal Warrior (saber1) - Momentum, BS, and CB are all very good fits. Good piece. 8
Darth Vader, Champion of the Darkside – AndyHatton - Some new abilities that I love. (Force Choke and the Glove of Darth Vader). A nasty beat but his damage output is limited on the move. 9
Darth Vader, Young Apprentice – SignerJ - Good beat and looks to be a fun piece but that Rapport takes way too many points off, since he is already priced appropriately. 7
Darth Vader, Sith Warior - Cassus Fett - An interestingly balanced piece. Very good for cost, especially that 170 HP, but the Speed 4 seems to balance it. 8
Darth Vader, Jedi Temple Destroyer – CorranHornSux123 - A very interesting piece as well. Momentum/Cleave/JK may be a bit too much but he has a very low attack for cost. Strange balancing act and I'm not sure if it succeeds. 7 (Would give a 7.5 if I could).
Darth Vader, Instiller of Terror – DieandbeMetal - A pretty strong beat but nothing that new. 8
Anakin Skywalker, Destroyer of the Jedi – surf_rider56- I like that he brings the 501st into Sith. Not too new though. 7
Darth Vader of Mustafar – Bubba Fett - SF is a good fit. However, due to IS I think he is a bit overcosted. 7
Anakin Skywalker, Fallen Hero - pegolego - As I've often said, I like his piece but I feel it is a bit over cost. Still, very good design. 8

My vote goes to FlyingArrow's Darth Vader, Heartless Killer.

Anakin Skywalker, Destroyer of Jedi is very cool and all abilities fit this character very well. Love the LST2 overwhelming force combo! Having no Custom SA's make him easier to judge. 9
Darth Vader, Young Apprentice is definitely undercosted with triple GMA, Sith Rage, ect (especially with Rapport!) compare him with Jaina Sword of the Jedi. Not sure if MotF2 is needed on this character. I f this guy was costed higher my rating would be higher also. 7
Darth Vader, Heartless Killer the name keeps making my think I'm gonna see a Keyblade SA Laugh. I definitely see where you were going with this version and could see how useful he would be in a skirmish. However I don't think his force powers would be that weak IMO its hard to judge his cost with those good stats plus Greater Rolling Cleave but no defensive abilities. He makes for an interesting piece nonetheless 8
Darth Vader, Jedi Temple Destroyer has ALOT of different stuff going on, his lower attack is balanced with Momentum and JH. Willing to Serve fit Vader well, however Cleave and Jedi Killer is slightly to much IMO (but better then the rolling cleave he used to have) and I personally don't care for Shockwave. Everything else fits him though. 7
Darth Vader of Mustafar feals like a good old school mini that the should have made in RotS. Everything fits him and make him work just like Vader on Mustafar except for maybe Stable Footing. (If memory serves the terrain did slow him down) he needs to have a slightly higher cost for him standing alone and even higher because of the tech that will boost him up (Bandon, Holosid, ect) Maybe consider changing his name also. 8
Anakin Skywalker, Fallen Hero is definitely my favorite pre-suit Sith Vader. Everything fits him well, and makes him a very deadly force (no pun intended) 10
Darth Vader, the Darkside Unleashed. We cannot vote for or rate our own character in this contest.
Thats all for the pre-suit Vader's I will finish Rating the rest and will place my vote tonight after work. cheersBlooMilk and may the force be with you!

I usually rate minis from more of a creativity standpoint. That’s just me. I’m just in love with the Star Wars universe and its characters. The mini’s accuracy to the character being mini-fied is most important to me. Flavor text, original ideas and custom SAs and FPs help... without being “too much" if that makes any sense.

Darth Vader, The Darkside Unleashed – Deathwielded – 9
A great representation of a pre-lava bath Vader. The use of speed and mobility if original, Fuel of the Darkside is awesome. I don’t think any version of Anakin/Vader ever used lightning.. without it he's be perfect No flavor text? Darth Vader, Lord of Vjun - Robobob
Darth Vader, Purge of the Jedi – DarthBane53 – 7
Definitely an original Vader. HVL is a bit confusing and the choice to have no extra attacks is different. No defense and 2 one-shot FPs is different.
Darth Vader, Heartless Killer – Flying Arrow – 9
A great low cost Vader. Bully will def help him demolish lower costed enemies
Darth Vader, Brutal Warrior – Saber1 – 8
A powerful version of Vader with 12 abilities! (I don’t count Unique, Melee Attack, and FPs) and well written flavor text.
Darth Vader, Champion of the Dark side – AndyHatton – 7
Another powerful version, Glove of Vader is different. No Cyborg or flavor text?
DarthVader, Young Apprentice – SignerJ – 8
A standard Vader here. Solid but mostly stuff we’ve seen before.
Darth Vader, Sith Warior- Cassus Fett – 7
High stats with mostly standard abilities. I understand the logic behind Speed 4 but it does kill a piece. No custom abilities.
Darth Vader, Jedi Temple Destroyer – CorranHornSux123 – 8
Nice character, stats are kinda low. When you defeat a Jedi do you Cleave or Jedi Killer? A little confusing.
Darth Vader, Jedi Nightmare – Corranhorn – 9
Aggressively priced compared to most Vaders. Force Crush is kewl.
Darth Vader, Instiller of Terror – DieandbeMetal – 7
This uber-Vader has the usual Vader SAs and FPs, DoF is nice but with 11 abilities he has a pretty full plate. No custom abilities or flavor text.
Anakin Skywalker, Destroyer of the Jedi– surf_rider56- 9
blasted that card looks awesome. I’ll forgive you on the flavor text cause it wouldn’t fit on the card. No custom SAs, but solid and well-rounded.
Darth Vader of Mustafar – Bubba Fett – 10
An original take on Vader. Accurate abilities. Affinity for Palpy is redundant having Imp affinity.
Anakin Skywalker, Fallen Hero – pegolego - 9
One of the few Anakins in the contest and more powerful (and accurate perhaps) than any standard Anakin mini.

Bubba Fett's Darth Vader of Mustafar is the best representation of a Anakin/Vader. Love it!

Darth Vader, The Darkside Unleashed (Deathwielded) - He is a powerful beat stick, figure is well put toghether and easily balanced by the cost though. 8
Darth Vader, Lord of Vjun (Robobob) - Everything CorranHorn said I agree with as well as the rating. 9
Darth Vader, Purge of the Jedi (DB35) - A nice spin on a character the cost needs some tweaking though. 7.5
Darth Vader, Heartless Killer (Flying Arrow) - This figure is good and I like how all the abilities go nicely with each other 8
Darth Vader, Brutal Warrior (saber1) - Good piece not much else for me to say. 8
Darth Vader, Champion of the Darkside – AndyHatton - I love this peice the custom abilities are awesome and well suited to him and even with somewhat limited damage output he gets a 9 from me.
Darth Vader, Young Apprentice – SignerJ - This peice does not need that rapport and IMO I think that it undercosts the figure. 6
Darth Vader, Sith Warior - Cassus Fett - Don't Rate My Own Peice
Darth Vader, Jedi Temple Destroyer – CorranHornSux123 - The abilities synergize but balancing is pretty dicey but I like him so. 7
Darth Vader, Instiller of Terror – DieandbeMetal - Honestly Very Generic. 7
Anakin Skywalker, Destroyer of the Jedi – surf_rider56- Bringing 501st Into sith is inventive and Leads to some very interesting possiblities, however like the above entry he is fairly Generic. 8
Darth Vader of Mustafar – Bubba Fett - Not to sure about this guy all i'll say is could have been better. 7
Anakin Skywalker, Fallen Hero - pegolego - Ah Pego, pego, pego I can't decide on how I feel about this peice so I'll go neutral, It's good but flawed (like pretty much ever Mini so thats not saying much) but it's still good. 9 ;..;
Darth Vader Jedi Nightmare- Corran Horn- I love it, love everything about it and you get my vote for winner. 10

Alright, here goes:

Anakin Skywalker, Destroyer of Jedi (surf_rider56) 9
For surf to not have liked the idea of Sith Vader at first, and put this together quickly, it's one of my favorite Vader's in the contest (naturally, as it has some similarities to mine Razz). Seems well balanced, being a Commander helps with the balance (especially after he cleaned up that little oversight lol), which, thinking of that, may make mine a tad overcost...

Darth Vader, Yount Apprentice (SignerJ) 7
Not bad. Another that shares a lot of my views on a good Sith Anakin. Seems undercost though, with the ability throw out 90 damage on the move with ease, and you can throw in Holosid for a point basically.

Anakin Skywalker, Fallen Hero (pegolego) Waitaminiute! I can't vote on this!

Darth Vader of Mustafar (Bubba Fett) 10
Love this Vader! I may have gave him 1 less starting FP, and he is a tad undercost I think (you may notice, I almost never complain about overcost, so that may just be me), but those are small gripes. Like the Affinity, and love the concept of a Savage Anakin (plus, Imp. Savage. helps balance him). Well done BigGrin

Darth Vader, Instiller of Terror (DieAndBeMetal) 7
A cool Vader, though I'm not sure how a couple of the abilities fit post-Mustafar Vader. Seems almost comparable to Lord Vader, but better, a follower, and a bit cheaper (1 point). Very high attack potential, and several good tricks for defense and survivability, and I feel that the Imperial Affinity (it has the Logo, so I assume it's supposed to be there) kinda almost defeats the purpose of a Sith Vader. But, an interesting build of Vader nonetheless.

Darth Vader, Jedi Nightmare (corranhorn) 9
Pretty sweet, low-end Vader. (sort of) a poor-man's Vader, but it can pack a punch! Force Crush is a very fun ability. Again, a possible issure with Holosid and such high starting FP on a Vader, but again, miniscule issue. I like the Cyborg take on Vader, and altogether he's a very nice build.

Darth Vader, Champion of the Dark Side (AndyHatton) 8
Force Choke is cool, and Glove of Darth Vader is fun (though I'm not sure about the second part of it; would understand it if I read the book most likely). It'll have no problem surviving SEVERAL turns with all it's Defense, and has quite an arsenal (albeit, less range of options than on defense) attacking too. The afore-mentioned second half of GoDV possibly makes this a bit over-powered.

Darth Vader, Sith Warrior (Cassus Fett) 8
This one's kind of hard... I LOVE all the abilities, but 170 HP + Armor + LSD +high stats = LONG life. Couple that with a potentially unblock able 120 damage (more with Bandon), potentially higher with Vicious, even with speed 4, I think is a bit much.

Darth Vader, Jedi Temple Destroyer (corranhornsux123) 8
An interesting Vader. Not sure a lot of the abilities will behave together, and he has lower stats than usual. Not much defense either. Not a huge fan of Jedi Killer, with Cleave. Willing to Serve and Pilot help with his balance.

Darth Vader, Brutal Warrior (saber1) 9
A cool Vader, though it has a lot going on (not much more than any of the others though). He seems well balanced, though Brutal Strike and Crushing Blow are dangerous, and the CE giving Momentum, coupled with things like Bandon/Holosid could be some dangerous troops).

Darth Vader, Heartless Killer (FlyingArrow) 8
He may be undercost, but that helps with Bully (which can easily just about any Grunts, and most pieces cheaper than him). That coupled with GMC (not a huge fan of it by itself anyway) can be QUITE crazy, but only in certain situations. FA did well with only a few abilities used (compared to all the other Vader's in this contest).

Darth Vader, Purge of the Jedi (DarthBane53) 8
I don't care too much for Holding Vader's Leash, though it's creative. Final Shot is dangerous, and may not fit being Melee, but it's critical considering he has no extra attacks, and has no way of getting them except Rolling Cleave. Overall not worth the cost, but DB did a pretty good job with the unorthodox route he took on this Vader, so I commend him for that.

Darth Vader, Lord of Vjun (Robobob) 9
RB did a great job on Juyo I think. I like Grasp, Sith Armor/Meditation are nice. I'm not sure about the CE, but he seems like a balanced Vader, though he has potent FP's (Twin Riposte, Rage, Twin Sweep, and again the Grasp).

And, finally, Darth Vader, The Darkside Unleashed (Deathwielded) 10
A well balanced Vader, Fuel of the Darkside is gold. Force Speed can be POWERFUL, but he is a balanced Vader because of some of the OTHER SA choices, which is part of the reason this is so great (Dw resisted the temptation to use Jedi Hunter, and it is more balanced because of it, along with other things like Sith Lightning, though it may not be used usually with Double/GMA). Overall, I love it. A very tame mid-high cost Vader, that can become a MONSTER in an instant if you don't watch out, and well balanced as well.

Overall my vote goes to... (drumroll Wink)... IDK... Bubba's Vader of Mustafar or The Darkside Unleashed by Dw...

Ok, my final vote goes to DARTH VADER, THE DARKSIDE UNLEASHED! ThumbsUp. Well done Deathwielded, and a chalice to you as well my friend! BlooMilk. A FULL one too! Flapper

One thing I'd like to say "ray kwik". A few of you have noted that my submission is pretty aggressively costed compared to most Vaders, this is because most of the Vaders he bears a resemblance to are moderately to very overcosted. (RotS Darth Vader, anyone?). Just wanted to throw that out there.

From surf_rider56 - Anakin Skywalker, Destroyer of Jedi – Cost 64 balanced (offense+defense) beatstick w/CE. Anakin with unavoidable 80dmg from 6 away versus Jedi with LST2. With Bandon and Revan, can swap right into place adjacent to an enemy and deal unavoidable 150 dmg versus Jedi. Parry/LSD/MotF2 for defense. Plus a good 501st CE. Seems a bit overpowered, even at cost 64. 7.

From SignerJ – Darth Vader, Young Apprentice – Cost 53 beatstick w/no defense vs shooters. 120 on the move with GMA/Sith Rage/Bandon. Block/Motf2/DSS for defense. Will go down quickly versus shooters. Rapport 10 with Sidious means he’s effectively cost 43, which is aggressive costing. 7.

from Pegolego - Anakin Skywalker, Fallen Hero
– Cost 79 beatstick w/limited defense. Huge offense. 200dmg on the move versus Jedi with LSA/Rage/JH/Bandon. LST1 gives 100dmg on the move range 6 vs Jedi. Limited defense: DSS, Reflect. Good 501st CE. Huge beatstick that seems costed about right at 79. 8.

from Bubba Fett- Darth Vader of Mustafar - Cost 48 pure offensive beatstick with a savage twist. No defensive abilities and only 19 defense. Maxes out at 90dmg on the move: Ambush/SR/Triple (120 w/Bandon). Impulsive savagery would gain access to Celeste but lose access to Bandon. Impulsive Savagery is good representation of Vader’s reaction to Padme. Loner, Force Leap, and Stable Footing is appropriate to Mustafar. Lightsaber Sweep seems out of place on this piece. Very thematic and fun piece. 10.

from DieAndBeMetal - Darth Vader, Instiller of Terror - Cost 70 balanced (offense+defense) beatstick. Massive unavoidable damage output: Triple/JH/Rage = 120dmg (150 w/Bandon). Dark Armor, Deflect and DSSM for defense. No mobility – only one attack on the move. Grip 4 for ranged attacks, and FR2 to make it feasible. 150 unavoidable seems too high. 7.

from Corranhorn - Darth Vader, Jedi Nightmare - Cost 44 beatstick w/no defense vs shooters. Lower cost than most of the others. No MotF, so have to choose between Overhwelming Force or Sith Rage. Results in max of either 120dmg vs Jedi (Dbl/Mighty Swing/Rage/JH/Bandon) or 100 unavoidable vs Jedi. On the move, only one attack for half that, or use Backlash but lose Mighty Swing. Dark Armor/LS Block for defense. No renewal. Force Crush is 30dmg at range 6 plus a wound (Speed 2 until making a save). Very thematic ability. 9.

from AndyHatton- Darth Vader, Champion of the Dark Side - Cost 68 beatstick w/more defense than other designs. Glove of Darth Vader is most interesting part of this one. Very thematic. Less dmg output and more defense than most other big Vaders. Max output on his own: Triple/JH=90dmg standing still. With help from Wyyrlock/Bandon/ExarKun: 150dmg on the move (but that’s a lot of help!). Plus a zero-time Choke (improved burst lightning). 9.

from Cassus fett- Darth Vader, Sith Warrior - Cost 65 170hp tank. Max dmg: Triple/Adv/MightySwing/Bandon=150 unavoidable with Overwhelming Force. On the move, only 50. Grip 20 for range. Speed 4 is thematic for a Vader too cool to run, but is a big hindrance. LSD/Dark Armor for defense, but no MotF. With that speed, absolutely have to run him with Revan or Caedus for a movement breaker. 8.

from CorranHornsux123- Darth Vader, Jedi Temple Destroyer – 59 point low-HP Jedi Killer. First thought is that 19/9 on a cost 59 piece doesn’t match. JH/Momentum gets him to +17atk, though. I like the Jedi Killer ability (similar to my Greater Rolling Cleave, so of course I think it’s thematic for Vader), but mixing it with Cleave is asking for rules questions. I know we can get Cleave/Rolling Cleave on the same piece already, so it’s a question that has already been answered – just seems unnecessarily complicated. With no defensive abilities, I think he is quite overcosted. Max dmg with Bandon: 60 on the move, 100 standing still. Too low for the cost considering lack of defense (although having all the damage in just one or two big shots is something different). If he could clear people out consistently, that would be different but Jedi Killer is too unreliable since it only works on low-HP force users. 7.

from saber1 Darth Vader, Brutal Warrior – 66 cost beatstick. Max dmg: Triple/JH/CrushingBlow/Bandon = 150dmg. Brutal Strike makes it unavoidable. Only one attack for up to 60 on the move (adds in Momentum). DarkArmor/Deflect/DSS for defense. Damage is high enough you probably wouldn’t bother with Bandon. Troopers gain Momentum through CE. 7.

from FlyingArrow- Darth Vader, Heartless Killer – My entry. Based on the scene of killing younglings in the temple.

From Darthbane53- Darth Vader, Purge of the Jedi - 64 cost one-shot beatstick. Max dmg: one attack for 70 dmg with FinalShot/JH/Bandon. That assumes an enemy with only 50hp, though, and they’d not normally soak 20dmg, so it’s usually overkill. Max 50 vs high HP enemy. Not enough for a 64 cost character without defensive abilities. Rolling Cleave and Final Shot work against each other. 7.

From Robobob- Darth Vader, Lord of Vjun – 58 cost commander/movement breaker with good damage output. Very interesting representation, capturing Vader’s meditation. Sith Meditation seems underpowered, though – I can’t see myself using that one. He’s too high of a cost to spend whole turn gaining 10hp/1fp. Max dmg: 80dmg on the move with Rage/Bandon. SithArmor (improved DarkArmor) for defense, but nothing else. Great CE to help his non-unique allies. Comes with a new movement breaker: Sith Grasp. Way overcosted if just a beatstick, but the movement breaker and CE look like they would work well. Would benefit greatly from Illusion. 10.

from Deathwielded - Darth Vader, The Darkside Unleashed – 65 cost monster beatstick. Max dmg on the move: GMA/Dbl/JHatred/Bandon/Rage/ForceSpeed = 200dmg. LSD/MotF2 for defense. No renewal, but gains FP through new power whenever he defeats enemy. Could be force starved without renewal, but I think you’d always get him renewal somehow. Looks like a lot of fun. 8.

My vote goes to Robobob's Lord of Vjun commander/movement breaker, edging out Bubba Fett's savage Vader of Mustafar.

My ratings part 2.
Darth Vader, Instiller of Terror is very strong with a high amount of damage possible though he needs that renewal 2. Love the Doctrine of Fear! I personally don't think Vader after Mustafar should have renewal 2 due to hum losing out on 2/3 of his power. 8
Darth Vader, Jedi Nightmare is Pretty aggressively costed though balanced somewhat with cyborg (great that you remembered it! +1)
and lower then average attack and HP for a Vader. Everything on him is characteristic of Vader, I like how you didn't give him renewal to represent his more limited Force Power (Though giving him renewal via HoloSid won't be hard) Force Crush is great I like how it gives that character Speed 2 instead of farther damage. 9
Darth Vader, Champion of the Dark Side is a strong beat, stronger than average against ranged opponents. The Glove of Darth Vader is awesome not over powered and the ability to pass it along is flavorful. Force Choke is a good way to stun and do some damage, although I would have made it range 6... 9
Darth Vader, Sith Warrior with the Highest stats in the contest. This looks like the slow but overwhelming Vader, he will live a good long while with 170 HP, 23 defense, Dark Armor and L defense. This guy would need Tela swaping with Sidious, sith master to be effective. Just seems like to much of a beast. 7
Darth Vader, Brutal Warrior. Momentum fit Vader well (if he is only getting one attack he is going to make it count!) the Combination of Brutal Strike and Crushing Blow really Represents his heavy strikes His CE can help the troopers but not necessarily the Sith faction 9
Darth Vader, Purge of the Jedi. I see your intent by make Vader a one strike killer. Holding Vaders Leash really needs some reconsidering/rewording. One use of his Force powers and he is out unless you bring a battery I think with time he could turn out better. 6
Darth Vader, Lord of Vjun. It is nice to see a different aspect of Vader Lightsaber skills represented with Juyo Style without excluding his Djem so skills (by adding L Riposte). I personally don't like to make suited up Vader too Mobile which is what Twin does, but I does fit this piece very well. Great job remembering Cyborg! Sith Grasp 2 is slimier to FP I created on one of my other Sith Vaders but yours is alittle bit more balanced though I think I liked it better when you move the target 3 squares instead of 2. Sith Armor and Sith Meditation could use alittle power up, I think you tried hard to represent Vader as a sith character and it shows. 9
My vote goes to the first entry Pegolego's Anakin Skywalker, Fallen Hero!

Sith Lightning is to represented from the Revenge of the Sith Video Game, the only time Vader actually used Lightning anyway this is the slim and narrow time frame to give any Vader any kind of Lightning.
And I just didn't get around to giving him a Flavor textRazz

Well, thank you BigGrin. I truly appreciate that. He was one of my favorite customs I've made because of how different he is from all my other pieces.

So far, though I haven't added all the totals, it looks like Bubba Fett has an edge over the competition with his popular 'Mustafar' Vader.

My vote goes to the first entry Pegolego's Anakin Skywalker, Fallen Hero!

So far, though I haven't added all the totals, it looks like Bubba Fett has an edge over the competition with his popular 'Mustafar' Vader.

That's what it looks like with 1 vote and three ratings of 10 he has a good chance of getting the bonus 2.
But that could change since out of the 14 of us who entered only 6 of us have voted. (signerJ said he wasn't going to be able to vote this week though) so with only half of the voting done it could stilll turn around!Cool
BTW I am thinking of adding to the rules that you must vote in order to win, that way someone can't win by not voting for the competition.

My schedule is a little crazy today, I'm working on my list when I can. At the very least I'll post my favorite and ammend the list later.

Ok guys I wish I had more time to do this but the deadline really snuck up on me. I also didn't realize I would be gone this next week. I really wish I could add more for constructive criticism, but I am just out of time. So I'm just going to cast my final vote and maybe when I get back I can finish posting my opinions a few days late.

My final vote is going to pegolego with Anakin Skywalker, Fallen Hero. I am a big fan of trooper CEs and love the idea of trooper army dedicated to the destruction of force users. Kinda harsh I know but I really like this guys offensive capabilities. He is balanced so he can't recieve to many commander effects and has a great thematic stance.
