Ah, I see what you are saying. I would just shoot the Twi'leks before charging in, though (one of the few disadvantages to an almost-all-cloaked squad; the tech that isn't get's a nice big bulls-eye on it's head), but it would provide some extra time for you (and they'd be free).

Also not saying /I/ would win it 100%, but Daala simply has a huge advantage in that game, the way I see it.

This is also under the assumption that scruffy gets the other side of the map as well. I do not see anyway for him to win from the side he had during the game. From the other side of the map i would say that those games would go about 60/40 in favor of daala, simply because you can put a klat on gambit first round and force daala to come out to play and they would have the same number of attackers, but with the bodyguards brought in the daala squad would have to be much slower it would definitely be interesting to see the game played again though at some point.

@Deaths_Baine, Kokomo was a 12 man regional. Which is a HUGE difference don't you know that?

Guessing the 3 that dropped were quality opponents. Who pays $15 and drops after a game? Again, we will keep an eye on you young Padawan and see if you have what it takes to pass muster.

considering their circumstances yeah they had to leave, but you weren't there so you wouldn't know and considering that scruffy already beat timmerb in a tournament head to head I would think he has passed your test.

if you are referring to me and not scruffy I could care less I don't ever play competitively lol.

Hah, I wasn't there but am pretty sure I know what it was like...lot of fiddles and banjos playing SW theme song. Beating Tim doesn't pass the test. You gotta beat everyone playing competitively at least once and recognized outside of their own household as a good player.

we love to bash (as in TN?)? this guy is the one questioning scruffyhan' squad and talent without being there and knowing nothing about the guy, then he assaults our tournament, only 8 players... who cares, which is basically what he said, then he takes a shot at us for being hillbillies. But we are the one's that like to assault people... well its true I guess, so screw you too lol.

talking trash over minis???

I wonder what kind of real world accomplishments a guy has when he talks trash over Star Wars mini's.

I take offense to your comments and quite frankly have played the game about 20 times all and all and did just fine. Could have beat Ultrastar if I cared about the gambit rules, beat a 31 activation squad no one thought I could beat.
I am a solid player, I know I am not recognized outside of my own household as a good player, but my beautiful wife and 3 kids recognition is really all i care about these days.

But for you to put yourself on a pedestal and look down on others over a matter of SWM is quite low and quite revealing of your character.

Maybe we can have another TN regional and you can come down and not only win, but with your level, make it worthwhile for everyone. That way I can put a face to the person bashing the people who played and bashing TN in general.

I'm pretty sure you have no idea what you are talking about Mike, but hey don't let that stop you from making an ass out of yourself.

It's not like the game of Star Wars Miniature isn't in a fragile state right now. 12 people showing up to play in Kokomo is just sad. I was there last year and the year before when there was 23. It's fallen that far since then. No one is getting great turnouts. Places like Atlanta and North Carolina are not even doing tournaments this year. Yet you want to bash our tournament? To what end? Because we tried? Because we're passionate about this game? Because we have a mighty 4 page discussion going on about Klats!?

Because you scoff at the competition? I've played the best players in the game, and have won/held my own against all of them, so you don't have to take Deaths_Baine's word, you can take mine. The competition was great, but more than that, it was a lot of fun.

If the qualifications for being recognized as a GOOD player is that you have to beat EVERYONE while playing competitively then my god, we're not going to be able to call anyone good anymore. That's just silly.

Soon the only play groups left will be Chicago and Indiana. Have fun making custom stats for 12 people...and New Zealand. With the game in the fragile state that it is in, I certainly would not be bashing a play group that had 11 players show up (HEY! our turnout is actually improving from year to year!). Instead, be happy that tournaments for this game that has not had corporate backing since MoTF is still going on. Be happy that there are still people passionate about this game to discuss something like the Klat Assassins for however many pages it's at.

Well said, lets quit shooting ourselves in the foot. If you have something nasty to say, say it over a BM. Better yet just keep it to yourself. Feel free to call me out to if any of you guys ever see me running my mouth on here. So, now that we are done measuring (cough), lets get back to the thread.
