Just wanted to pop in and say thank you guys for writing up these play reports. As a returning player these help so much with catching up on all of the new(to me) characters and the meta. Once I have the time to commit to either a long format tournament, or a single day regional, I absolutely will jump in on the fun!

Trevor P and I had our games today. Game 1 I played http://www.bloomilk.com/Squad/221299/vset-21---raskta-lsu-dicrous-Quote:--Vset 21 - Raskta Lsu-dicrous?-- 60 Raskta Lsu 38 Revan, Supreme Commander 26 Malak, Jedi General 25 Sylvar, Betrayed Jedi 20 Mirialan Jedi Knight 15 Army of Light Consular 8 R7 Astromech Droid 6 XT-6 Droid x2 2 Kneesaa, Ewok Princess
(200pts. 10 activations) thereisnotry played http://www.bloomilk.com/Squad/223325/mando-glowsticksQuote:--Mando Glowsticks-- 58 Mandalore the Vindicated 56 Tarre Vizla 32 Venku Skirata 28 Kelborn 14 Mandalorian Combat Engineer 11 Death Watch Saboteur
(199pts. 6 activations)
on Outlaw City, (both our map), I "won" map roll, thereby he picked left. He got some shots on the way in, but I had good Evades for the most part. He did a good job of forcing me into bottlenecks where I was disrupted, but luckily Revan's was not a CE that could be disrupted. He took out Sylvar before she could do anything, and we danced back and forth a bit. I was able to get Venku down to 30 with Revan, but then he flew away. Revan then got down to 30 as well. Venku's Force Awareness (combined with his CE) really was effective in making me think twice about Revan's Jedi Battle Control. We finally got to it and my Mirilan went in and took out his Combat Engineer, and Raskta Lsu came to pound on Vindicated. He took out the Mirilan with a LS throw from Tarre Vizla, and tried to whale on Raskta with Vindicated, but he missed one and she bubbled the second for 10 damage total. Mirilan dead left room for Malak to come in and finish off Vindicated. Next round Tarre steps up to smack Revan but he defenses. I take AoOs to go around Tarre and take out Kelborn with Raskta and the saboteur and finish off Venku with Malak. Leaving all my pieces with 40 hp or less except for Raskta with 100. I could have danced around gambit with my 4 pieces to get over 200 (only needed 3 rounds), but I said, nah - and went in full force. I knew Raskta could take a Darksaber triple and only take 30 damage max with LS Protection 2, so I launched into him. Parry saves were very bad for Trevor. He spent a lot of Fps and still took a lot of damage. He did the triple, 30 damage after LS Protection 2. Come in with the gang and take some shots. he takes some more damage. Next round I take an AoO with Raskta to get the +10 damage, and he misses, (no FP left to rr), he had to decide whether to try and take out Revan AND Malak (both have LS Defense) or put more into Raskta Lsu. He put more into Raskta Lsu, now down to 40 after LS Protection 2, but also out of FPs. I get him down to 10 hp with Malak and Revan. Next round he wins init and takes out Raskta, but fails his first parry from Revan and game over. It was a rough and tumble match, with a LOT of 20s rolled (inits, map roll, attacks, saves, everywhere). TimmerB123's Old Republic over thereisnotry's Mandalorians 200-143. 3-1

Thereisnotry vs TimmerB123
Final Score: 200-140 Thereisnotry wins (3-1)
Tim won the map roll so we played on Throne Room and I set up on the left.
tint's squad (LS): --Flyin' Force Users-- 33 Luke Skywalker, New Republic Hero 32 Jaina Solo Fel, Jedi Master 52 Jedi Wing Commander x2 25 Head of State Jagged Fel 22 R2-D2 and C-3PO, Galactic Heroes 18 Klatooinian Captain 13 BB-8 3 Ugnaught Demolitionist 2 Kneesaa, Ewok Princess
(200pts. 10 activations)
Timmer's squad (DS): --Shocking Swoop-- 57 Darth Maul on Swoop Bike 40 Savage Opress 31 Mother Talzin 27 Lobot 27 Nightsister Mother 15 Nightsister Sith Witch 3 Mouse Droid
Preferred Reinforcements: (Lobot) 5 Killik Drone (Lobot) 15 Mouse Droid x5
(200pts. 13 activations)
Round 1 was positioning, with me being cautious to keep my guys away from Tim's lightning shenanigans. At the start of Round 2, Maul swooped up to destroy BB-8, who was innocently holding the gambit door open. Jaina responded by charging up to quad-Cunning Savage to death, followed by a Wing Commander charging up to do 40 to a SithWitch. Jaina and the Winger died to lightning throughout the course of the round, though. Luke and some other guys combined to put some damage on Maul. Next round, Luke did a nice triple-Bravado on Maul, which brought him to 10hp. Maul responded by putting 60dmg on Luke, but then died to the Klat Captain. Meanwhile, my other Wing Commander was up there causing trouble for the N. Mother, with the help of R2-P0's Blaster Upgrade. Things were getting tight toward the end, but I pulled it out after Luke died.

Mando and I played I played http://www.bloomilk.com/Squad/224161/rebel-chewieHe played http://www.bloomilk.com/Squad/223943/ds-seperatistsHe won map even though we both had the same map so we played on starport terminal and I Set up on the left. He sent Grievous in for an early deep gallop (and missed once against Lando), and it took everything I had to finish him off. That key miss against Lando set the tone for the rest of the game. He had multiple misses by just 1, and I was able to use Lando's ones step ahead to evade a key 50 damage shot. Mercenary kept me in check and made for some slow going, but Talon's free move, plus the coordinated movement from rio, let me work around it for a bit. Final score was Urban Jedi (LS 200) to MAndos (seps 127)

Had my second game vs Urbanjedi tonight Final score was 200-51. 3pt for Mando, 0pt for Urbanjedi map: Starport Terminal My squad: http://www.bloomilk.com/Squad/224169/ls-concentrated-firepower--LS Concentrated Firepower-- 78 Jedi Wing Commander x3 25 Admiral Ackbar, Supreme Commander 25 Rey 22 R2-D2 and C-3PO, Galactic Heroes 18 Voort "Piggy" saBinring, Wraith Squadron Ace 13 BB-8 8 Wicket 6 Mouse Droid x2 3 Ugnaught Demolitionist 2 Kneesaa, Ewok Princess (200pts. 13 activations) urbanjedi's squad: http://www.bloomilk.com/Squad/224162/hand-of-talon--hand of talon-- 32 Talon Karrde, Information Broker 30 Mara Jade, Hand of Judgment 28 Daric LaRone 27 Korlo Brightwater on Speeder Bike 27 Taxtro Grave 15 Lobot, Computer Liaison Officer 15 Momaw Nadon 10 Droopy McCool 7 Ewok Hang Glider 9 Ugnaught Demolitionist x3 (200pts. 12 activations) I choose Korlo as Ackbars CE target and got an early los on him with a Jedi Wing Commander but missed 2 of the 4 attacks, getting him to just 10hp. I took out Mara in the second round after urban had forgot she didn't have stealth and so one of my jedi wing commanders did 80 dmg to her. BB8 was kinda the mvp as he rolled around and did damage to people he needed to and gave Rey the +4 def to make her really hard to hit. Ackbar and Piggy made winning init much easier. Urban made a small error in the match as his momaw damaged the wrong people and he didn't have anyone with dmg 0 to be wounded before i took out momaw for good. korla never got a strafe attack off as he had to be placed in safe spots to avoid the accurate shot that all my wing commanders has on him. Ackbars CE was very useful and so was his SA's. good game and it was fun to play the NR Jedi shooters!

I've been in contact with Darth_Jim, and he and Darth_O are having some scheduling issues.
Since we are 2 weeks ahead from flying through the first 2 rounds, I've granted them more time if they can get a solid date set for their games soon.
I'd much rather see the games played!

Darth O and I got our first game in tonight. Its been tough with the time zone difference and working... thanks to Tim for giving us a little grace. My Squad: http://www.bloomilk.com/Squad/218822/roots--Roots-- 65 Mace Windu, Legacy of the Light Side 51 Celeste Morne 35 Sarlacc 23 Foul Moudama 11 Watto 9 R2-D2, Astromech Droid 6 Ugnaught Demolitionist x2 (200pts. 8 activations) His squad: http://www.bloomilk.com/Squad/224056/goodknight-nurse--GoodKnight Nurse-- 43 Roan Fel, The True Emperor 32 Antares Draco 32 Thrawn (Mitth'raw'nuruodo) 30 Dengar, Bounty Hunter 25 Imperial Knight Armorer 22 Marasiah Fel 8 Mas Amedda 9 Ugnaught Demolitionist x3 (201pts. 10 activations) Sub V21 Ganner Krieg for Dengar He won map, and chose Outlaw City. I set up on the left. I parked the sarlacc in gambit in the lounge, and slaved Mace. I can't remember who it was... Antares Draco, I think... who swapped in at the end of the round and dropped a pair of 40 damage twins on the Boba Burper. Then, after winning init, he finished it off. I think it took me longer to read the sarlacc's special abilities to Oli than it took for him to kill him. Foul carried Mace up and he tripled on Draco, leaving him with 10hp. I elected not to reroll... I had evil plans. Plans that Oli quickly thwarted by swapping in Marasiah who then force leaped over to R2 who was carrying Celeste and sold him for parts. Then, despite outplaying me, the wheels came off for Oli. In short, he got Maced. He attempted to move past Mace with the armorer...or was it Krieg? I'm an old man and its late. Mace critted the AoO for 70 on yes... Krieg, and then killed him with the flurry. Next, Celeste finished off Marasiah and moved up next to Foul to give me options. Roan Fel... fell... (that was awkward) taking a crit himself by Mace. Celeste rakghouled an ugnaught and Mas Amedda to put the score over 200. There was more stuff that happened but hey... I'm old. Get off my lawn. I won 200-57 3-0, and we are set to play our second game at 5:30 est tomorrow.

Darth O and I finally got our second game in...thanks to all of you patient blokes. After running an 8 activation squad, I went total opposite direction to go old school with a 26 act Thrawn swap called Wuher Revisited: http://www.bloomilk.com/Squad/224178/wuher-revisited--Wuher Revisited-- 50 Boba Fett, Assassin for Hire 32 Thrawn (Mitth'raw'nuruodo) 16 Admiral Gilad Pellaeon 15 Lobot, Computer Liaison Officer 13 Amanin Scout 9 Wuher 8 Mas Amedda 24 Mouse Droid x8 27 Rodian Brute x9 6 Ugnaught Demolitionist x2 (200pts. 26 activations) Darth O ran a very synergistic and cool Spec Force squad called Spectacles: http://www.bloomilk.com/Squad/224055/spectacles-Spectacles-- 24 Rebel Battlefront Commando 23 Crix Madine, SpecForce Commander 21 Orrimaarko 20 SpecForce Marine 18 Sergeant Melshi 17 Bossk 17 SpecForce Vanguard 15 SpecForce Infiltrator 15 SpecForce Technician 15 SpecForce Urban Combat Specialist 15 SpecForce Wilderness Fighter (200pts. 11 activations) Darth O won the map role and chose Outlaw City. I deferred side choice, preferring to see where he set up over map side. Oli chose the left. Oli got everyone to the center pretty much except Orrimaarko and another couple guys to flank me down under. (see what I did there?) I swapped in Boba and sniped Crix and put damage on another character to end the round. Oli controlled Gambit. The second round started with me deciding not to risk Boba so I swapped a rodian in for him. Then Oli's abysmal luck started. He missed the rodian. He missed a ill placed Amanin. He missed... a lot. These were statistically good shots, pretty much all above 75%. He had terrible luck on his most important shots and a few saves in the first half of the game that sealed his fate. Meanwhile, I hit on a few crits and my rodians even had a crit or 2. I rolled an 11 on init and was able to bring in Mira. The luck was staggeringly on my side. It just kept Oli on his heels and he couldn't mount the massed attack I could see his squad was capable of. I hope he puts Spectacles on the table again soon; I may even run it. I won 200-86, 3-0.

Well I'm glad you guys got your games in. Sorry that Ollie has had a streak of bad matchups!
Lightside made a heck of a comeback and is now in the lead.
Rebels got their first loss, Imperials got their first win (in the same match!)
Fringe is still unbeaten and Separatists are still winless.
It's a jumbled mess at the top, 2 pairings left to go!

Pairings are up.
Round 4 pairings
TimmerB123 v Mando
Darth_Jim v urbanjedi
thereisnotry v Darth_O
You have until Sunday May 9th at 11:59pm (US Central) to get both your games in with your opponent.
Round 5 pairings are obvious as well now. If players want to play their round 5 game they can, but they must both have completed their round 4 games first.
Best of luck everyone

game 1 vs Timmerb123 Mando defeats Timmer, 200-52. 3pt win for Mando, 0pt for Timmer map: Throne Room my squad: http://www.bloomilk.com/Squad/224224/ds-lah-and-order--DS Lah and Order-- 34 Czulkang Lah, Young Hunter 28 Tsavong Lah, Warrior Elite 22 Khalee Lah, Warrior Progeny 19 Eighth Cortex Shaper 19 Yomin Carr 18 Yuuzhan Vong Consul 17 Mezhan Kwaad 15 Yammosk War Coordinator 13 Yun-Ne'Shel Priest 11 Advance Agent, Officer 4 Yuuzhan Vong Worker Preferred Reinforcements: (ECS-CE) 17 Domain Lah Subaltern Tim's squad: http://www.bloomilk.com/Squad/223793/balance-committee-approved-tactics--Balance Committee Approved Tactics-- 45 Colonel Jacen Solo 27 Lobot 15 Eryl Besa 15 Keeper of the Whills 14 Dianoga 14 Luke Skywalker, Jedi Spirit 24 Kubaz Spy x2 40 Galactic Alliance Senator x5 5 Caamasi Noble Preferred Reinforcements: (Lobot) 17 Klatooinian Assassin (199pts. 15 activations) Wall climber really helped me in this game as well as unintentionally messing up Tims placements with my yammosk placement. Czulkang was amazing as well as Tsvong and Khalee. Tims squad was very annoying but thankfully my vong had the tools necessary to win.

Tims squad was very annoying but thankfully my vong had the tools necessary to win. Yeah, plopping down the Yammosk in gambit turned out to be good, even though I literally walked up and killed it in one of the first activations of the game (he forgot about battle ready). But I was not being careful and counting squares, and just sorta winged it, which sealed my demise. I left an "open" spot for him to land Czulkang (wall climber), which he killed my Dianoga (thanks to my failed poison saves), and that left a bigger hole which I couldn't fill in time. Even then I still had a shot, but stupid me moved Jacen out of gambit (what was I thinking!?!). Had I left Jacen blocked in with diplomats IN gambit as opposed to 1 square outside of it, I still could have won. It's a squad that is pure abuse, so it really should never have a shot to win, but it lost this time do to my sloppiness and Trevor capitalizing on the additional counter tools he had just enough to get me in the wrong position. We played. We still need to nix this garbage.

Game 2 vs Mando My squad: http://www.bloomilk.com/Squad/221705/venku-n-dinQuote:--Venku n' Din-- 67 The Mandalorian (Din Djarin) and the Child 32 Venku Skirata 29 Pre Vizsla 28 Kelborn 16 Mandalorian Advance Scout 10 Death Watch Saboteur 8 R7 Astromech Droid 6 Mandalorian Demolitionist 4 Prowler 1000 Seeker Droid
(200pts. 9 activations) Mando played: http://www.bloomilk.com/Squad/224170/ls-specforce-spottersQuote:--LS SpecForce Spotters-- 25 Admiral Ackbar, Supreme Commander 23 Crix Madine, SpecForce Commander 19 Princess Leia, Rebel Commando 18 Major Bren Derlin 18 Rebel Leader 17 SpecForce Officer 15 SpecForce Infiltrator 15 SpecForce Technician 15 SpecForce Urban Combat Specialist 15 SpecForce Wilderness Fighter 14 General Rieekan 3 Mon Calamari Tech Specialist 3 Ugnaught Demolitionist
(200pts. 13 activations) We played on my map (outlaw city) Rebels on the right. He moved up the SpecForce with Crix' CE, He moved up to open the first door then used his Urban Combat Specialist to blow the CENTER door (speed 8 with the SpecForce Officer). Crix was positioned up in the corder of the center room ready to disrupt. I attacked with my entire squad but rolled a LOT of misses and he evaded the rest. Next round I resolnare and tuck up into that little corner in the center of the map right of the room Trevor has moved most of his pieces into. He uses surprise shot with Leia to take out my R7, misses one, but takes it out shortly after that. He still has a LoS so gets 3 activations at the top and double twins with cunning from his Infiltrator and jolts Mando (ugh, what an NPE ability), as well as tossing a proximity mine on him. He's able to get him down to 80hp left. I move the rest of my squad away so they don't take the damage too, and take out the infiltrator and that pesky Urban Combat Specialist. Next round I resolnare to get all up in his face with most of my squad, and position Mando for a devastating cable tow and whistling birds. He uses his 3 acts to take out Pre Visla, and his Kelborn a couple. I take an AoO to move Kelborn up and hit his wilderness fighter for 20 and Crix for 20, bringing them down to 30 hp. Then Mando does his Cable Grab/Whistling birds to take out the (annoying AF) Tech, Crix, Wilderness fighter, and put 30 on Leia and Ackbar. That really crippled him. Then I was able to start taking out pieces at will, I finished Leia with Venku, and finally go to use his CE and took out Darlin (30 damage twin shots due to protective and Lightsaber). He finally did hit Din to take 10more hp off (actually crit so it was 20) and then tribe intervention happened and I used Venku to go take out the SpecForce officer, and cleaned up the rest before he could get to 100pts. Din is really kinda stupid good. Like NPE level. And I was on the winning side. But Venku remains so much fun to play with! Final score 200-87, TimmerB123's Mandalorians over Mando's Rebels. 3-0

Whistling Birds is usable just once per skirmish. If it was usable every round, then I agree that he would be an NPE.

Oliver and I played both of our games tonight. Our second game went like this.... tint's LS squad: Hit Me With Your Best Shot85 Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker 55 Yoda, Master of the Order 28 Mira of Nar Shaddaa 18 Gungan Shieldbearer 9 R2-D2, Astromech Droid 5 Rodian Diplomat (200pts. 6 activations) Darth O's DS squad: 1 AAT a Time65 NR-N99 Droid Enforcer 61 Scorpenek Annihilator Droid 40 Prince Xizor 12 Haor Chall Engineer 9 Battle Droid Officer 12 Ugnaught Demolitionist x4 (199pts. 9 activations) thereisnotry wins, 200-42 (3-0)I won the map roll so we played on Bothan Spynet. Rigid is irrelevant in competitive play, or else this could've been a headache for Oliver. He set up on the left, using Forward Positioning to set up his tanks as far forward as was possible. I set up on the inside rooms, moving into the room, leaving the door closed at the end of the round to prevent any ugly AOE shenanigans. Well, nevermind that.... I started Round 2, and used Mira to blast the door and toss a grenade. Then Oliver moved his NR-N99 up to attack my Shieldbearer (failed the Energy Shield save, so took the damage back in the face), and then used Pulse Cannon on EVERYTHING...yes, I thought it would be a good idea to group everyone around the Shieldbearer...ugh. I lost R2 and the Shieldbearer there, and Yoda also took the full 40dmg (yes, needing 7s, and yes, even after 2 fprr's). After that, though, my Jedi dismantled the NR-N99 droid. The next round, they dismantled the Scorpanek Droid. And then, after that they dealt with the AAT. These tanks just don't do well vs Lightsabers and multi-attack Jedi. Meanwhile Mira had been in the mosh-pit with Oli's Uggies...they got some good hits in (including a handy crit) but Obiwan came in to Force Push the final Uggie out of commission after dropping the AAT tank. Our prior game was really exciting and came right down to the end, but this one just wasn't really close. The final score was 200-42 for me...and no, I didn't score any gambit, not even using a squad with SSM and Energy Shield.

Thereisnotry and I just had our games. My light side won the first game 3-1 on Rhen Var 3-1 (240-214!). TINT's squad: http://www.bloomilk.com/Squad/211755/sith-triumverate--Sith Triumverate-- 71 Darth Nihilus, Lord of Hunger 53 Darth Sion, Lord of Pain 44 Darth Traya, Lord of Betrayal 40 Sith Assasin of Malachor V 18 Dark Force Nexus 12 Sith Ordnance Specialist x2 8 Sith Recruit x2 2 Kneesaa, Ewok Princess (248pts. 10 activations) Mine: http://www.bloomilk.com/Squad/224245/felucian-guards (light side) --Felucian Guards-- 100 Luke Skywalker, Master of the Order 29 Ganner Rhysode 26 Kyp Durron 11 Praxeum Student (V-set 21) 28 Felucian x4 6 Ugnaught Demolitionist x2 (200pts. 10 activations) I set up on the right. TINT plonked Nihilus and the Nexus in the top left of the main room. In round 2 Luke used Lightsaber Throw 2 to bring Nihilus down to 20HP. Traya drained Luke to bring him to 130HP and killed a Felucian. Nihilus used Lightning to kill 2 Felucians and bring Ganner to 70HP. The Nexus moved Sion and took him down to 100HP with Easy Path. I won the massive round 3 init, so Ganner used force push 2 to finish off Nihilus, who blew up to bring Sion down to 60HP and Kyp to 70HP. Traya finished off Kyp. Luke used Throw to bring Yraya down to 50HP. Sion killed the Praxeum Student. Round 4 TINT won init and used Traya and two sith pawn SD10's to bring Luke down to 90HP after he deflected a crit. Ganner lifted Luke next to Traya so he could double/twin Traya to bring her down to 10HP with a successful LS defense. The Malachor Assassin took a 40dmg AoO to lift Sion next to Luke. A Felucian brought the Assassin down to 40HP. Sion and an SD10 brought Luke down to 60HP. The Djem so took Sion down to 10HP after rerolling a 1. The riposte missed, so Luke has 60, and Traya and Sion have 10HP each. Round 5 TINT wins init and uses drain life to heal Traya back to 30HP and take Luke to 40HP. The first two attacks miss, and Luke makes his LS defense, but fails his Djem So. Luke then kills Sion, but he crits on a riposte! Luke is lucky enough to make his LS defense save, so he's still alive on 30HP. Luke then crits Traya, who fails her LS defense. The Assassin takes an AoO from Ganner for a chance to kill Luke, but he misses the attack and reroll. TINT wins the final init and finishes off Luke! However, my 60HP Ganner force pushes the Assassin to death. TINT has no attacking pieces left, so the game ends 240-214. I assume that's a 200-200 win for points purposes. There were so many fork-in-the-road decisions for both of us. Who knows what would happen if we played this matchup 100 times!
