bought 4 packs from target just now, 2 GaW, 1 Clone wars, and 1 IE, got Cad Bane, flobi-wan, Captain Rex, and An Emperor on throne, not a bad pull

They had Clone Wars in the Stocking stuffer section over the X-Mas holiday. Not with the regular booster packs. I didn't know about it either until a friend told me. That's how I got the Captain Rex I needed. Also, they were even cheaper than IE. If I remember right, I grabbed 8 for $40.

So today I swung by Target while I was wating for my film to get developed at the Costco across the street. I wasn't too optimistic since it's been real dry around here as of late, but I figured nothing ventured, nothing gained. The same ol' same ol' - galaxy at war, some JA and a couple of Imp Entanglements. Ah man, some jerk ripped that IE wide open - well, I might as well take a peek and see what's left and take it up to the service counter so they can damage it out.

Wait - what's that? Holy crap, Potty Palpatine? Someone ripped open the box and left him behind? What a moron!

And so I go into the back to check the toys, see if they have anything else there. Hey, what's this? One lone KotOR booster? I still need a couple of things from that. Might as well gamble the 6 bucks away. And so I scurry off to the checkout and head for the car. On the way out, I start counting the figures from the open booster. 1,2, 3, 4, 5, 6. . . ah crap. Someone did nick a figure. Ah well, I got a Potty Trained Sith Lord out of the deal, so I can live with a missing figure.

Oh - wait, what's that empty bag that I accidentally grabbed with the rest of them. . . that's not empty! That's a Mouse Droid! Holy smeg!

And in the KotOR booster? Darth Malak. :) So while I didn't come away with figures that I didn't already have, I got some pretty sweet trade bait now. And seriously, I should go buy a lottery ticket or something!

I've had a similar run with the Lobot, CLO's out of IE. I now have 3 available for trade.



Yesterday I swung into a Shopko on my way through a nearby city to check out what they had. I decided to leave the one Revenge of the Sith booster that somebody hid in the back. Instead I grabbed one of the Universe boosters and 2 of the Legacy boosters.

Got a Lobot out of the Uni booster so now I have one of those to trade as well (which kind of continues my Lobot streak regardless of what form he is coming in). I did get my first X-1 Viper Droid though. That should be fun w/ GGDAC!

In the first Legacy booster I opened I got a Deena Shan (at least it wasn't another Moff Moorlish Veed like the last Legacy booster I bought about 4 weeks ago).

And at this point I'm thinking about this "wonderful" run I've been on. It has to change at some point right? Boom. Boba Fett, Mercenary Commander. All is well again in the world and now I need to add some more Mando's to my collection!





Oh and some friends stopped me last night to let me know that they cherry picked a Felcor from our local Shopko! I'll be in the right store at the right time to cherry pick one of my own sooner or later!

I had a similar experience recently with two LotF boosters. I opened the first booster and pulled out a GA Scout, GA Trooper, TIE Pilot and then four others. I then opened the second booster and pulled a GA Scout (hmm), GA Trooper (rolls eyes), TIE Pilot (really?) and then more junk.

Picked up a couple more IEs today. Found outlater that one was already opened. O.o ....that one had Logray. The other had Jerjy but had a mouse as well. Im not kidding; I must have hot hands for mousies or something b/c the last 16-ish boosters or so of IE I bought literally 1/2 of them had mousies.

There are bins of $1 C and $2 UC at my LGS. Found a mouse Saturday.

I had resigned myself into not buying anymore boosters as I hadn't found anything beyond IE, JA, and GaW in the past month or so, so I had liquidated most of my fodder acquired from the cheap boosters to recoup other expenses as well as individually buying the missing few (It really helped that Auggies was accepting just about any amount of a mini), but today I found 2 LotF at my local Target. I quickly snatched them up like the rare treasures they were. In them, I got Marassiah Fel and Nomi Sunrider. Nomi was one of the few I was missing, so I'd say it turned out well.

Oh dude, all 4 at the same time had Obi-Wan Unleashed in it?!?!? I can imagine the look on your face at the time.

I ended up with a bunch of Kyle Katarn, Combat Instructor's and Captain Rex, 501st Commander's. But not all at the same time/visit.
