I need a play group here in the Detroit area.

I did not take my own advice. I bought a bunch of the $4 boosters from Five Below.
The equivalent of a whole IE case for $50. Got the Palpatine on Throne I was looking for, two mice, and (naturally) a bunch of Imperial troopers. I did get four VRs, but 2 of them were Threepio. Fortunately, I needed one.
Six JA boosters yielded 3 VRs. Unfortunately, 2 of them are the VRs I already had (Kol and Plagueis). So trade fodder.

Ugh. Got 3 Five Below IE boosters. Madine, Jerjerrod, and Jerjerrod. No Mouse Droids. If I weren't customizing, I'd be tempted to throw all three in the trash.

Unfortunately for me, the liquidations have ended in my area. There's not even a spot for the boosters anymore (and to add insult to injury, the spots were replaced with Twilight and Justin Bieber).
I at least found a new awesome liquidation though. There are now giga boxes of the Pirates pocketmodel game out there, with 20 packs in them for 10 bucks. Hopefully, they do the same with the star wars pocketmodels.

Yeah, all the Targets in my area are out of SWM. Haven't checked Best Buy yet, but at least there are a couple of Five Belows near my Mom's house that I can check when I go home for the weekend on occasion.

The Targets near me haven't had anything for a few months, but I hit Five Below today. They had a ton of Jedi Academy and Imperial Entanglements. Probably I should have gotten a few IE, hoping for some Mouse Droids, but instead I grabbed three Jedi Academy (not because I need any more minis, but because for 12 bucks I could justify the thrill of just opening the boxes!
2/3 VRs: Anakin Solo, Kol Skywalker, Naga Sadow. Don't need any of them, but still cool. Now I need to figure out how to turn a profit on Kol and Naga. :)

The local Target didn't have any the last time I was here and didn't have any older sets by the toys the last two times I was there. A friend tried a few Targets in Dallas and came up empty. We don't have a Five Below anywhere near here.
This is a bummer ... it feels like the game's been cancelled all over again.

My Target had one lonely pack hanging up by the action figures. It was slightly opened so I wanted to make sure everything was there. It was a GAW pack and there was a Nadar Vebb sitting in front of me. I bought it without any hesitation.
First VR in a very very long time!

I had some time to kill and tried our local Target again. This time they had Force Unleashed, Clone Wars, Jedi Academy and Imperial Entaglements all for 3.99. They only had 1 Force Unleashed and Clone Wars and 2 Jedi Academy, but a dozen or so IEs.
If Target hasn't had them of late, take heart! There may be more on the way.

I collapsed and grabbed 3 JA boosters today at Five Below.
I got Kol Skywalker, Master K'kruhk, and Naga Sadow. 3 for 3 on VR figures, not bad at all. I threw them into my Trade thread, but I might use them for customs too, not sure yet. I'd feel kinda bad cutting up the Naga Sadow hehe.

I got suckered into buying more IE at Target. Even though only $3.99. My thought was... "Hey, I know if I get enough of them I will be able to pull at least one MD..." Not so.. What I have now is 2 more Aricas to add to the collection of costumizable minis

Pulled a Darth Caedus from my most recent purchase of boosters!
I am starting to notice stores in the area that are out of boosters though. I'm hoping they restock.
