I must admit, I am a tad surprised no one has mentioned the Covenant after the last set provided a big base for the subset and so many people expect Krynda anyway

Feln
Q'Anilia
Raana Tey
Xamar
Haazen

A new Lucien and/or even Zayne to tie into the group could possibly be seen too. Generic "Covenant Padawan" maybe?

And if we do see it leaning towards more KOTOR/Covenant/Carrick, we might see Shel Jelavan, Slyssk, Moomo Bros, Camper, T1-LB and ideally at least we finally get a Gryph. A new Squint/Alek could even be seen, and maybe a remade Jarael who has the ability to make our recent Demagol piece Fringe might be interesting too

I really like the wotc lucien and zayne... I would like to see some new synergy for them rather than remakes. I think both are very close to being competitive... Just missing the secret ingredient.

To further explain, dray is over process when compared to others of his build (shaak ti, dooku, cal skywalker)... I think the new covenant pieces will
really make him worth those points

I agree, but was more thinking a new Lucien would be one of the best ways to get a Commander for the Covenant pieces too.

And Zayne being the single least-represented main/centerpiece character we have, if he were to see variants, I just wouldn't be upset BigGrin

I think the Zayne we have is solid enough and I always have fun playing with him...and I'd actually like a few of the characters from comics that have come out more recently like Finn and Kerra before we get a new Zayne.

I can see both sides of the argument. I really liked Zayne (took me a very long time, but he really grew on me in the end). Wouldn't mind seeing a varient when you put it like that. But as the next poster has stated, there are a lot of comic book characters we need... As much as I'd like a zayne, we need a Marn even more... for gods sake, the only snivvian piece in the game is just collecting dust waiting to be proxied!

Oh, I don't see it as an argument what so ever - I just see it as a causal mention of pieces we could possibly see. Agree there are a ton of pieces we need too, but that still doesn't stop pieces like "Luke Farmboy" from being made either, so...

Can any one say updated Kir Kanos that REFLECTS the character?

I probably shouldn't say this, but my playgroup has been playtesting the piece Kir Kanos' Bathroom Vanity Mirror. The RM is the Bacta Tank.

More seriously, on SHNN last night, they talked about a 10 point Fringe piece, S? Trader, that can hand out Satchel Charge and Relay Orders, like the Rodian Trader does with Heal and Grenades (one at a time, replaces attacks).

It'd be interesting to run a Sith squad with 190 points of beefy guys, and this new guy - he might be all the tech you need in some builds, although it would take a while to give out all the abilities you need.

Yep, that piece was made for that. You can give Zannah Satchel charge. She probably wont die very quickly and she can blow all the doors you need to open.

The pieces name is on the Star Wars Miniatures Facebook wall.

I hope this is not true, not on a 10 point fringe. If it was two fringe characters having one each that would not be so bad.

I play tested this character. Its not full proof. If you only want one of them you have to keep back him and what ever other character(s) stay back to get the supplies. And it would be new if they gave out relay orders, that's interesting. Gosh I love making custom miniatures.

I don't see what is so bad. I don't see him giving either ability to more than 2 or 3 figures. I'm not going to lie, I've seen the piece, and he is key to my Sith squads in the future. Less reliance on weak Mice or Uggies is only good for big, bad beatstick squads. It is a pretty big gamechanger for a popular type of squad.

The character with Relay Orders is not in range of their own Relay Orders. To benefit from the CE, they would have to be in range of another character.

I'm worth sithborg on this. I think it's silly to say a piece like this would be bad when 2 factions have had access to booming voice for a point less for the majority of the life if the game.

i think its a good idea, but its going to make for lots of camping around while the guy hands out supplies.

i wonder if the abilities will be called:

cummunication supplies and demolision supplies?

The name is Squib Trader

A new species for SWM, I believe. Maybe on a small base?
