Just read the new Dark Times #4. Would like to see a new Das Jennir and anakin that have something along the lines of:

Beast Mastery: Force 1: Replace attacks: touch; target savage enemy joins this character's squad. Each time the savage character would activate, it must first attempt a save of 11; on a failure, that character remains unactivated, rejoins the original squad, and is no longer Mastered.

Something similar could be used on Tott Doneeta, or also as an ability on characters like Modon Kira or a Beast Rider from the Tales of the Jedi comics.

+1 this also encourages your opponents to play pieces with empathy so their savage guys lose savage. Cool idea

A new twist on activation control... for example with Han/Chewbacca

Lifedebt: After an ally who counts as Han Solo activates, you may immediately activate this character. This does not count as one of your activations this phase.

Would allow 3 activations in a phase, or two in the first phase of a round.

Double points in gambit:

Priority Target: This character scores double victory points for occupying specified areas in scenarios that include such victory conditions.

Extra gambit location:

Midpoint Emplacement: Cannot move or be moved. Set up equidistant from two players' starting zones.

Primary Goal 5: In scenarios that score victory points for occupying specified areas, players gain 5 victory points at the end of a round if they have a character within 2 squares of this character.

---
Glossary:
Midpoint Emplacement: Cannot move or be moved. Set up equidistant from two players' starting zones. After setting up this character, count squares (ignoring terrain and walls) to the starting zones of the two nearest players. The difference between the two distances must be two or less. In a standard scenario, that means the character must be set up in one of the two columns adjacent to the midpoint of the map.

(The wording is a bit awkward in order to accommodate use of the piece in scenarios with asymmetric starting zones, or multi-player scenarios.)

Make C-3PO Ewok Deity mobile...

Deity Transport: Replaces turn: touch; select 1 adjacent ally whose name contains Deity. This character can move up to its speed and at the end of this character's move it may place the selected ally in any legal adjacent space. If this character is defeated during its move, the selected character is placed in the nearest legal space adjacent to where this character was defeated.

one issue with that, it has speed 0 so moving it up to its speed doesn't help much. However i think an ewok with masterlift would do the trick

Griff Vao with these sorts of abilities:

Incompetent Industrial Repair 10 (Replaces turn: touch; deal 10 damage to a character with Mounted Weapon. An allied character can instead remove 10 damage from itself with a save of 11.)

Incompetent Repair 10 (Replaces turn: touch; deal 10 damage to a droid character. An allied character can instead remove 10 damage from itself with a save of 11.)

Homicidal Surgery (Replaces turn: touch; deal 10 damage to a living character. An allied character can instead remove 10 damage from itself with a save of 11.)

Gambler (When this character activates, it may choose to make a save. Before rolling, guess if the save will be more than 10 or less than 11. If correct, this character gains +2 attack and +2 defense for the rest of the round. If incorrect, this character gets -2 attack and -2 defense for the rest of the round.)

Pheromones (Cancel an attack from a living enemy within 6 squares that targets this character; the attacker can avoid this effect with a save of 11)

Con Man (Adjacent allied commander effects are suppressed.)

Master Evader (Whenever this figure is hit by a nonmelee attack,it can avoid the damage with a save of 6.)

-1. hope this never ever happens, or anything similar. This would just end my support of the vsets.

This is probably suggested but a Hutt (Jabba preferably but a generic might be needed) or a crime lord that has "Posted Bounty"

Posted Bounty: At the start of the skirmish, once squads have been presented, choose one Unique character on your opponent's squad then choose one Unique character on your squad with Bounty Hunter, this character gets +4/10 damage against the opponent's Unique character.

You can see how this is supposed to work.

"This character" refers to the acting character, not the deity. The wording is the same as Master Lift except that the movement is equal to the character's speed instead of double its speed.

I wonder about a 12 piece mini-set somewhere down the line, and it's all stuff like the above, or like Han Solo in Carbonite, that's designed specifically for scenario play.

Patience: If all allies without Patience have activated and an enemy without Patience is unactivated, then you may choose to not activate this character this phase, even if that means activating 0 characters.

Master Duelist: If this character has not defeated a character during this skirmish, this character has +4 Attack, +4 Defense, and +10 Damage.

I like the idea in principle, but on second thought that's a bad implementation. That would allow one side to sit in one side of gambit and force the other side to come to them.

Imperial:
The Emperor, Reborn (In the Dark Empire comics, Sidious was an uber-beatstick – he needs to be a good saber-waver, methinks!)
A new Order 66 Palpatine, perhaps?
Executor Sedriss
Admiral Da’ala
Lord Shawdowspawn (perhaps he should have an ability like Force Dominate, but more powerful and longer lasting – and a CE for Shadowstormies?)
or Cronal/Blackhole
Head of State Fel

New Republic:
A Chewbacca!
Jag Fel (with crushgaunts!)
Lando! (with CE/SA/Rapport or something with YVHs)
Danni Quee (perhaps an expensive character who nerfs Yammosk – a situational character)
Saba Sebatyne (This one thinkz it would be goodz)

Sith:
Lomi Plo
Welk
Alema Dar
Abeloth!!!
Lady Rhea
Vestara Khai
Gavar Khai
Lord Taalon
Sith Saber
Keshri Slave
Kas’im the Blademaster
A new Caedus and a new Nihilus

Rebel:
Luke, Last of the Jedi (I always ask for it, I know, and we technically got it with Epic-Luke, but I really, really, really would like to see the uber-melee-luke from RotJ where he whips Vader up a treat.)
A better Rebel Lando? With Pilot?
A Rebel Mon Mothma
Finally: a redo of Nien Nunb (I don’t quite know how you could improve on perfection… but you could give it a go…)
One of our guys suggests this for a Chewie:
Unique HP 160
Wookiee Att. 10
Pilot Def. 20
Momentum Dmg. 20
... Bowcaster: replaces attack, make an attack with accurate shot and +4 attack and +10 damage
Close-Quarters Fighting: +4 against adjacent
Immobilising rend: if both attacks hit the target the target is immobilised
Protective +20 (Leia/Solo)
Wookiee charge: replaces turn, move speed and make two attacks. At the end of the first attack opponent large or smaller is pushed back one square.
Flavour text : "But sir, nobody worries about upsetting a droid."
"That's 'cause a droid don't pull people's arms outta their sockets when they lose."

Mandalorian:
Goran Bevin
Something to boost Mando damage OR a movement breaker-type ability (without trying to simply become the republic faction)

Separatist:
A holo-Sidious (with something to boost Living Seps)

Republic:
C3P0!

Fringe:
Craddosk
UnuThul!!!! (When he first appeared in the Dark Nest Trilogy, he calmly walked in and squashed the gun turret of the Falcon like it was nothing.)
Killiks
D'harhan
Lord Nyax/Irek Ismaren (Actually - I have no idea what faction he would be on - Sith maybe? - but a 6-lightsaber custom would be awesome...)
A new Guri – one who scares the pants of people.
Sarlacc! (Yes, whether it is an Epic piece, or a cost-prohibitive (in terms of competitive) piece, we need a Sarlacc. It could be a 3x3 base that we place on the board (emplacement) and could have melee reach 3 and an ability to pull characters in, but could be defeated by the likes of Boba Fett etc.)
Chief Chirpa (It would be great for him to give C3PO Ewok Deity something too – like a CE or SA so he’d actually be useful. Either Camaraderie or “a character on your squad whose name contains ‘Ewok Deity’ gains …”)
A new Talon Kaarde
