Went to Target in my area today. They had 6 boosters of JA for $8.99, but I passed on them since I almost have the whole set, and I bought the 4 IE boosters they had for $7.49 each. BigGrin

No Mouse Droids, but I pulled 3 VRs, Crappio (2nd), Dash RS (2nd), Luke RC, and Logray (who I didn't have). Luke and Dash are easily worth the $30 I spent on the 4 boosters.

Anyone want Dash or 3PO?

I watched the 2009 Gencon final online about three months ago when I should have been writing an essay. That was one of my most nerdy of moments.

I bought 2 IE boosters at Target for $7.49 each (they had about 15 in stock). I had my worst luck ever... TWO R2-D2 with Sensorscope!

I did get another Mouse Droid (and had fun buying and opening the boosters) so it wasn't a total waste.

But, I'm not sure I can live with those being my last pulls ever so I may go back and buy at least one more booster.

Last night, I picked up 5 Legacy boosters from Target for $7.00 each. It was one of the few sets that I didn't have too many pieces from, but I still managed to pull a couple of duplicates. My R/VR pulls were:

Deliah Blue
Shado Vao
Wolf Sazen
Canderous Ordo (came with 2 copies of his card, in case anyone needs one)
Boba Fett, Mercenary Commander

It's always a good day when you open a pack and are greeted by a grown-up Boba :)

I already had Shado Vao and Wolf Sazen, so I traded with my brother who had pulled Deena Shan and Moff Morlish Veed. That way, neither of us ended up with duplicate Uniques.

On my lunch break today I decided to try another local Target. They had 4 each of IE and JA, but they had 6 FU boosters so I decided to buy 3 of those since I bought IE yesterday.

After careful weighing and shaking I decided to buy based on the picture on the front of the box and bought one Luke & Yoda, one VAR and one Maris Brood for $10.99 each.

I got to my car and opened up the VAR booster first and pulled a Junk Golem (which I didn't have) and Loda (2nd) (I always liked Luda better than Loda because it reminded me of the rapper)

Next I decided to open the Loda box, since the VAR box gave me Loda I figured the Loda box would give me VAR. I opened the box and found a Spider (which I didn't have) and a VAR!!!ThumbsUp

The Maris booster was last (I figured it would be Maris in there since I pulled the other two cover characters). Pulled another Spider and Shaak Ti, JM (2nd) ThumbsUp

So to wrap up my two days of booster buying I pulled 6 VRs (one sucked) and 1 R. I have a Dash, RS, Crappio, Loda and Shaak Ti, JM for trades now if anyone is interested.

Well, I couldn't let the two crappy IE boosters I opened last night (see above) be the last boosters I ever opened, so I went to another Target and saw 6 TFU boosters. I bought the heaviest one hoping for a Felucian Warrior on Rancor, and as luck would have it that was what I pulled (hurrah!).

But, the best part is that whenever you get a huge R or VR, you typically also get another regular size R or VR in the same booster (at least that's been the pattern I've always had in all the large boosters I've ever opened). As luck would have it the second figure was Darth Revan (hurrah! again).

I already had both of these, so the Darth Revan has been added to my trade list (I also added the FelCor, but I don't mind having two of this one since it's a neat figure and a non-unique VR).

I don't think it get's much better than this, so I think that will be the last booster I ever buy (I already have most of the figures I really want, and will just try to buy or trade for the singles I still need).

Looks like Revan and FelCor are best friends! I pulled them both as well in my 2nd trip to Target. =D

My fiancee and I went to Target to do some surveying, and man did they restock like crazy! Last time we were there, all they had were around 10 IE, 1 JA, and 4 GaW, and I bought 2 GaW (and pulled Grievous Scourge/R7 and Cad Bane/Clone Repeating Blaster). This time, they had a TON more.

They had boosters in two places: up front with all the cards, and then in the toy section on a little display with more cards and such. In total, they had: 12 IE, 7 JA, 6 TFU, 4 CW Starters, 2 '07 Starters, 2 GaW, and 2 SSB Starters. We picked up and felt out each TFU booster, and only one of them was rather hefty. I ended up buying the hefty TFU booster, a GaW booster, and the '07 Starter since I needed the map. My pulls were amazing!

Well, the TFU anyways, lol. The TFU had a FelCor, Darth Revan, Rebel Vanguard, and other stuff. My GaW had Asajj Strike Leader (already have one, so meh) and no useful UCs. My fiancee bought a GaW booster and an IE booster (I think I might have finally gotten her into the game, yay!) and she pulled Rex 501st and Leia Bounty Hunter. Those are ok pulls, but at least we hve neither rare so it's all new stuff. SO psyched I finally got a FelCor!

I went to the three Targets in my area. I picked up all the TFU boosters and cherry picked to no avail. No Rancor for Squelchy! Sad Then said the heck with it and bought. 5 IE boosters, 1 GaW, and 3 JA's. Ended up with 7 VR or R's I already have, *cough* trade fodder *cough*. Wink However I did get General Rieeken, a much needed one that I didn't have. And Luke Rebel Commando another one I didn't have. Cool

I could not resist stopping by target to see if here in So. Cal there were discounted.

Bought 4 IE and 2 JA. I would rate it as average pulls:

Palpatine on Throne
Luke, RC
Gen Madine
Thrawn
Kyle K, from JA
Anakin Solo

No mouse droids, but three shocktroopers. I love those guys.

Funny you should mention that creme_brule. I live in NY and 3 of the IE boosters I bought from Target had Arica in them as the rare. Sad

Thats how its done in the huge sets. You will ALWAYS pull a non-huge R/VR. The huge replaces one of the UCs in the pack, not the R/VR.

Just FYI ;)

Where did you get them laminated so inexpensively? I'm hoping it is a store I have around me. So far the cheapest I can find is Staples for roughly $12 each.

Thanks for your help.

I used OfficeMax to laminate my maps. Normal price is 13.99 a piece, but I went in on a Saturday and the guy must not have known any better, but he did my maps for 9 bucks each! My wife just had 10 maps laminated for me for Father's Day too! ThumbsUp
