Picked up the last 4 IE boosters at Target.

got Luke Commando, Thrawn, 3PO Deity, Emperor on Throne and 4 Mice. Also got a lot of Imperial troopers of various type, good stuff for sure.

The odds and force were with me with this time.

Oh my gosh, those are amazing pulls. You need to pick my boosters from now on. I don't know how many IE boosters I've picked up and still just have one mouse droid.

Dimetrodon ... no fair.Cursing But good for you. BlooMilk
Andy ... yeah, that's been my luck, too. 2+7+3+2+7 (WI+WI+PA+OH+MA) and only 1 Mouse Droid.

Out of four Packs Of IE at Target. Pulled an Md. Super exited even though it basically works out to be 16 bucks for an Md. Got some fodder for customizing though!ThumpUp

Recently I've seen a few boosters for Legacy of the Force in Target stores and less and less IE. I picked up one yesterday and pulled a Darth Talon, so that was nice.

Ya pretty much the same thing here. Bought 6 IE and got a Mouse Droid and Kyp Durron. Spent $24 and got lots of trade/custom fodder. Wink I now have 7 Mice. ThumpUp

I was at a Target in East Hanover NJ (in case anyone wants to go find it)

They had a Battle of Hoth box set plastic wrapped with a Bounty Hunters Booster. It had a sticker on it that said Target Exclusive, and over most the BH box it said Bonus!!

Well... guess what... $59.99 retail price no matter how we scanned it. The manager agreed the product should have been discounted but said the price comes from corporate and outside of price matching a competitor it was set in stone... and being an exclusive that can't happen can it.

I don't recall ever seeing this set packaged with a Bonus BH booster before btw, and I also remember it being $39.99 or something like that. not 60 friggin dollars.

I left it with them at customer service, so if Anyone is interested and is near that store, go right ahead and hunt it down if you like.

I'm curious to know if anyone else will find such a thing, or if this is just some old stock they found at the in store back room and finally stuck onto a shelf. regardless the price was nuts.

I've heard about those, and have seen them on Ebay on couple times. $60 is a lot, but the Hoth set was always around $40 when I was looking for one. I finally caught a sale on Miniature Market and got it for around $30. I get the feeling they aren't so easy to come by (sealed) anymore.

Another $20 for a BH booster is a big gamble, but it was not uncommon to pull double VRs. I had a couple of those with Krayt Dragons and Han/IG-88. Either a Dragon or the Skiff would just about make it worthwhile. IF...

I'd be tempted if I was around there. My love/hate relationship with the BH set is that strong. Laugh

i had picked up most of the hoth set as singles, and the BH set was too much of a gamble for 60 bucks. if I didn't own any of it yet I would have just got the thing maybe.

I guess it was old stock then by the sound of your post too.

This may not be the way they do things everywhere but at least around here Target doesn't stock any of the collectible games/cards in store themselves, that is handled exclusively by outside vendors. I suppose the vendor could have come across something old in their warehouse and just threw it out there but I don't know if that sounds right either.

Very interesting situation. I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for stuff like that around here.

Most likely it's old stock that the vendor came across. That would be my guess anyway. Smile I picked up that same exact set from my LGS recently. When I asked the store owner about it he said he had it set aside in the back room from when it was first released. It was the same price, and like you Dime I already had most of the set as singles from trades here on Bloo. However I couldn't pass up getting Blizzard Scout I and a BH booster. So I plunked down the $60 and got it. Wink

It would have been old stock in Target's warehouse. While most stuff is handled by the vendor, anything Target Exclusive would be part of Target's regular stock (to prevent it from turning up at other stores).

Thats my understanding as well Emporerdragon.

btw the company that brings that stuff into Target is named Excel if I am not mistaken. I've opened enough of their boxes that weren't packed out yet. pretty sure thats the name.

Yep. I've talked about Excel several times in this topic already. You might have to go back a few dozen pages though.

No, they don't sell cases, it's all loose product.

The BoH sets were first sold at Targets with the BH booster as an "Exclusive Bonus." I'm kinda surprised that you found some packed that way.

BTW, all of my local Targets (11 of them!) seem to be left with just IE boosters.

Ya my local 3 Targets only have IE. I think I finally have enough Mice and I finished this set early this year. I think I'm finally done with buying IE boosters. lol Laugh It'll have to be some other set for me to buy boosters there from now on. I'll have to start going back to my LGS's ASAP. ThumpUp $15 apiece is gonna hurt after only spending $4 per booster. Crying
