This is actually missing something: IG-88A also has the "Assassin" special ability, so he attacks at +17 for 30 damage against living enemies.

Finally a V-set piece that has got my attention. Wub

I'm going to pretend this was my idea:

It's not as ludicrous as claiming I invented the question mark. BigGrin

Leaves 18 points to add activations

with the +4 from atris makes 88a +21 for 60 a turn
88AD and 88BH maxed out at +23 for 120 a turn each (opp, bh, atris)

Thats 300 a turn between the 3, add a bunch of low point activations to make sure you get oppurtunist at the end of the round and with Shields 1 they stick for a while.

I'd rather put HK-47, Assassin Droid in there instead of Atris. That way you have another solid attacker, good defense and Disruptive. Atris is kinda useless since she has to sit out of harms way to be effective, and your attack is already really high with all the IG-88's. My squad I made is as follows:

Meatbag Annihilators

Hk-47, Assassin Droid
IG-88A
IG-88, Bounty Hunter
IG-88, Assassin Droid
Mouse Droid x4
Uggie Demo x2
R7 droid

200pts, 11 acts.

It makes a lot more sense now that IG-88A has Assassin. Its damage output seemed really low for its cost.

I seen this squad over at gamers, certainly has alot of value. I was thinking that the IG;s could have a tough time in non opportunists non unique characters. You be stuck at a +9 attack, that could be rough in some situations. Actually thought about adding squib trader to give the ig's satchel charge. THey can be their own support. That what I love about this game. Variances

Yeah, on gamers my name is obikenobi1. I like the fact that this squad is a varriation of my Meatbag Destroyers squad I made with Bastilla. The cool thing is that this squad has more damage output and more survivablility. I also like the fact that its completely fringe with only 2 living allies in the squad. I considered added a Squib Trader, but seeing as it would take 3 turns at least to give out 2 satchel charges and 1 relay orders, it would take to long for tounrey play to be effective. It's just cheaper to have the 2 uggies that can blow up the key doors hopefully. The R7 is in there in case tehy fail and to cause some mischief of his own, which is basically turning rooms into meatlockers.Razz

Even with their low attack against unactivated non-uniques, the squad can still hit with +9 attack from Ig-88 Assassin and bounty hunter. 4 attacks is still a lot and the average defense for non-uniques isn't to high, unless boosted by CE's/meditation. That and you also have Pulse Cannon which kills fodder and Flamethrower as well, so they should be able to handle any swarms/low HP non-uniques.HK-47 and IG-88A should be able so still hit most stuff with their Assassin ability. I'd love to see a GOWK/Windu squad go against this one. Oh Windu got a crit huh?...umm...no he didn't.Smile

While I didn't invent the question mark, it was my idea to turn it upside down at the start of a question written in Spanish.

So, due to technical difficulties there was no SHNN tonight. But that's no reason to deny you fine people your weekly preview!

32. Alexi Garyn, Head of the Black Sun
Cost 25

HP 80
DEF 17
ATK 10
DAM 20

Special Abilities
Unique. Black Sun Vigo
Doctrine of Fear [Enemy characters within 6 squares get -4 Attack]
Rapport [Black Sun characters cost 1 less when in the same squad as this character]
Ruthless [Critical hits from this character cannot be prevented or redirected]
Vicious Attack [Triple damage instead of double on a critical hit]

Commander Effect
At the end of this character's turn, 1 non-Unique Black Sun ally within 6 squares can make an immediate attack.

Under Alexi Garyn's leadership, Black Sun built a reign of fear felt on every planet from the Core Worlds to the Outer Rim Territories.

Cool piece! So would stealth pieces that are given black sun from the nautalon count as black sun for rapport?

Curious. No force rating. I am assuming that this was done so he wouldn't be defeated quickly by Jedi Hunters.

This was discussed a bit. However this was one of my reasons for not giving him a force power.

Updated main post. For those keeping score at home, the starting placement of the Fringe faction is now known.

Assuming factions will be kept in the same order as usual, it's kind of interesting how that affects things.

How serendipitous, I was just thinking how cool a tekli mini would be! Im just about done with Star by Star by Troy Denning from the NJO series and shes a pretty cool character! I was about to make a custom of her with some suggestions but I like her. Now one question, does she augment her own healing? So each time she heals does she heal 40 or 20? If now it seems like you would always use her with cigial, which could get costly.

No, Augment Healing requires an adjacent ally with Heal or Force Heal. The two of them together are costly, but they can heal a ton of damage.

I see some good use for her with Cade BH, who I haven't played in a long time. Put 100hp back on him in one phase. ThumpUp

Side note:

Could of the design guys please post the correct text for Force Bond? I'm sure what I posted isn't quite right.
Thanks

It doesn't effect her. this came up when the rodian trader was released and the bacta tank could receive heal 10

Would be fun to play them with gml for force renewal, and to keep him alive a little longer. Not competitive, sure, but entertaining.

This piece should prove useful with either Cade.
