I like yours a lot better, more fitting. Though perhaps changing the CE to only give renewal to characters with a force rating or separatist characters to differentiate from Luke GM and the sith holo

yeah you are probably right, it should be different Maybe allies with a force rating, to help a few of those assaj's, and eall the mauls too. Maybe limit it to seperatists though so you dont have atris with renewal other wise that could be messed up.

It would be great to see some of the SWCCG oddities and coolities make ther way into SWM. I would like to see a leia that is just sickly awesome for characters named Rebel Trooper, like Leia of Alderaan.

A commander effect that provides allies with attacks of opportunity against characters with flight (If you can't tell I hate lancers and speeders)
I would love to see minis from the new old republic novels maybe even an unknown sith emperor who provides a crazy commander effect but can not attack or be attacked until he is the last piece on the board.

I'm always down for more Old Rep era stuff!

As for attacking characters with Flight, I came up with this ability (currently on my custom HELIOS-3d... I also plan to put it on a custom Embo), which works against Flight AND Greater Mobile attack to some extent:

Draw a Bead (If an enemy attacks an ally within 6 squares and then moves and is not hit by an attack of opportunity, this character can make an attack of opportunity against the enemy)

Rolling Evade - On a succesful evade, this character may move one square.

I think this shouldn't provoke attacks of oportunity. I think it would be great to be able to move out if the line of fire, or move closer to your attacker.
Might be cool f a commander granted this to followers with evade, or stealth of something.

Greater Empathy: Allies with Savage within 6 squares lose Savage. Cancel an attack from a Savage enemy within 6 squares that targets this character; the attacker can avoid this effect with a save of 11. On a roll of a natural 1, the character joins your squad for the rest of the skirmish instead.

Signal Jammer: Enemy characters within 6 squares lose Relay Orders.

Droid Intimidator: Droids less than 5 points may not end their turn within 6 squares of this character

Defiant Death: This character can make 1 immediate attack at +4 attack +10 Damage when defeated.

Dominating Command Voice: This characters commander effects cannot be canceled.

A few more random idea's for Special Abilities I had

Tracker: After setup, choose any 1 enemy. This character gets Ambush and +4 attack against the chosen enemy.

Spear Head: this character maybe placed up to 8 squares from the starting point on your side of the map at the start of the skirmish.

Savage Trainerallied Savage characters within 6 squares gain Deadly Attack and Vicious Attack

Savage Handler allied Savage characters within 6 squares gain double claw attack and Rend +10

Here's a few ideas I like for some mandalorian charachters.

Mandalore the Indomitable on Basilisk. 77

Hp 130

Double attack

Damage reduction 10

Rapport: Characters whose names contain basilisk cost 10 less
when in a squad with this character.

Commander effect:
Mandalorian allies whose names contain basilisk get +3 defense and gain momentum.

Mandalorian Engineer. 17

Industrial Repair 30
Satchel Charge
